Yes. I was a type 2 diabetic. Upon leaving the hospital I was off all medication for diabetes with the exception of on insulin pen only if needed on a sliding scale. I have not had to use it and it's Day 5 post surgery. I had the sleeve Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

Get up and walk every hour . Your Dr should have given you a prescription for nausea. I fortunately did not exp the nausea. Had very little gas. I have walked ever hour since I came out of recovery this past Tuesday. It will get better. Hang in there Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Full liquid can be challenging but with will power you will all make it. I used the Premire Pre Ready shakes. They are tasty and will give you what you need.
