    5 days post op

Hang in there...It gets easier everyday!
  4. Today was my post op appt (surgery was 7/21). Dr gave me the clear to go to Zumba, so I took myself to class. Did low impact but survived the whole class. Pretty proud of myself, along with the 20lbs I lost since surgery! Sending well wishes to all July sleevers!
  5. I have a desk job. Went back 1 week & felt great. Take your multi & b12.
  6. Yes posted above. Along with some others. [emoji16]
  7. Ricotta bake. I posted the recipe above in another post.
  8. I blend my food as well, but this was an approved puree recipe on Pinterest. Here are some others. I love to cook, so I needed options. http://gastricsleevefoodie.blogspot.nl/2010/07/week-2-post-op-quick-pureemushies.html?m=1 https://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=1793517
  9. Fresh Ricotta and Shredded Parmesan Cheese from Trader Joe's and savory Barilla marinara sauce. :-)
  10. After being on liquids since July 7th I had my first puree meal. I've been waiting for this day. My stomach is talking to me, but all went down well and I didn't have any complications. I could only eat about 4 baby spoonfuls. This pyrex will last me forever!
  11. 3 days after surgery. Stopped pain medication after i was released from the hospital.
  12. 7/21 was my surgery date. Lost 20lbs since pre-op. Walking 2 miles a day & back to work. Feeling good just a little belly soreness. Moving to puree food Friday & I CANT wait!

Some meds are liquid for or need to be sprinkled in food or liquid. I bought the children's tylenol. I do chewable vitamins & liquid calcium citrate.
