My clear liquid pre op diet is for two days. From this point forward, im done with food. I wont be able to even have any protien shakes till a after the surgery. I have surgery on the 24th. I got it from this website: theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.comShe has some great recipes on her website, she is a former WLS patient and she has a great success story! Her recipes are on her website along with pictures and she even has an area of recipes for the pureed food stage. Shelly's Ricotta Bake 8 oz of Ricotta cheese 1/2 cup grated Parmesan 1 large Egg, beaten 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning salt & pepper to taste 1/2 cup Marinara Sauce 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese Mix ricotta cheese, parmesan, beaten egg, seasonings together and place in a oven proof dish. Pour marinara on top and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake it in the oven @ 450 for about 20-25 minutes (best) or nuke it till hot and bubbly. I would keep an eye on that. Even though I haven't had my sleeve done yet, ive had many other surgeries in my past. That could be a sign of a hernia hapening. Please take it easy. Let your doctor know if it happens again. I herniated, it felt like you explained. Ripping, burning and at one point a explosion for a quick second. Take it easy.
