its the ins company, even it they SAY they don't rquiet just say you did it or tried. the dr. just has to say that you have been tring to lose and what diet you are doing to lose NYU is great Dr. Ren the BEST I felt i had excellent care at NYU, they were right on top of things, they were very attentive to my needs as well as my family. When the top surgens in the county are working on you they want only the best things said about the hospital they work in. had mine on 3/3/08 Dr. ren

friend of mine told me she has slimed over 150 times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope i never do it again, it was awful. viv

I tried to eat some fried rice the other night and WOW it was like having a heart attack!!!!!!!!!! what a feeling i went outside for air and that's when the white slime stuff started to come up and then the rice came up. I was feeling like i could eat anything, I am sooooo glad this happened now i know when i get filled on tuesday It will have some kind of impact.:biggrin::tt1::regular_smile:

yes i had soup in the blender very thin all kinds of soup can be thinned out

go rite aid and buy a pill crucher it makes motrine into dust then put it on your tonge and wash it down with water its not that bad. I do it all the time I have back problems i take 800 motrin.

takes alittle time you'll be fine. I was VERY sick it passes. Just try to walk as much as you can.

please help me!!!!!!!!!!! am not filled yet and i am now VERY scared that this will not work for me. I feel like crying. I am hungery a lot. Friends of mine said they weren't hungery at all after sugery NOT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is this normal will it change when am filled...... am feel very discouraged viv:sad_smile:

thanks for the feedback. The only good thing is I don't eat as much as I use to lots less but still it seems like a lot when you have LB. My frist fill 4/8 I will tell Dr. Ren "filler up Doc" viv

OH YEAH!!!!!!!!! I had lots of pain in my shoulder and chest its gas it goes away after afew days

Dr Feilding of NYU he is a leader in the LB field he has a LB himself, he drinks soda diet coke all day long................... You just have to see what you can handel once you heal

I was banded on 3/3/08 the whole thing was womdefful the team at NYU gave me great care I wasn't doing well after surgery they were on top of it. Dr Ren was my dr. she is GREAT and caring, I only have great things to say. Now ins. Nelsa in office faxed all my paperwork on monday on tuesday the next day she called me at 3pm to say I was approved, how about that!!! A very postive expericance the whole way.
