I was given 5mg Oxy's. I could take up to 12 per day (they gave me 5 days worth). I needed them longer, but got them from my regular doctor (since I had an appt scheduled with them anyway). Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I took off 10 days (including weekends), and go back to work Monday. I'm still sore as hell when I sit in a chair. I'm thinking about taking some extra time off. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I woke up abruptly (from sleeping in recliner) and immediately had a "chemical" taste in my mouth and felt like puking. I had refried Beans and salsa for dinner last night and did not take my Omeprazole all day yesterday (though I've never had heartburn/acid reflux). Is this just really bad acid reflux? Should it taste like a gross chemical?? (Sleeved on 1/11/17) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Woke Up Today - Nasty Feeling

After 7 days, we were allowed to add scrambled eggs and refried Beans. The salsa was just pretty much puréed tomatoes, nothing solid. The place I had it done has a pretty strict plan, so I'm surprised to hear there are even more strict plans out there! What does your post op plan look like? I should also note that I just spit up a yellow Fluid. Is this part of it? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
Woke Up Today - Nasty Feeling

Thank you! Will do. I have never tasted such a gross taste before. I thought something may be wrong with the sleeve. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
I had mine on 1/11, and so far everything has gone better than expected! I had second thoughts right up until the anesthesia kicked in. The OR team and then post-op nurse were extremely nice and supportive. I'm still getting used to not gulping Water, but I already feel a million times better (except for the soreness on my left side). Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Have any of you that had the surgery around 1/10-1/11 gone #2 yet? This is the last thing I "need" to do before I feel like I'm fully functional..if that makes any sense. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
