What should I pack for the hospital?
bdjennings1957 replied to ResilientMaria's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
I took a toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush and deodorant. I also took a robe. When I got up and walked they clamped off the IV and disconnected it. I didn't walk around with the pole. I only stayed 2 nights. They provide soap, washclothes and towels for washing off and non slip socks. Wore home same sweats and shirt I came with. No bra. I found it rubbed my upper incision. Simplistic procedure I've ever had. Sent from my XT1096 using the BariatricPal App -
Trying Hard Here!

Stay off Facebook and stick to forums like this. No one can possibly understand unless they have experienced it. Hopefully you can find a buddy in your support group meetings and you can lean on each other. I don't talk about my journey on Facebook at all. The only people who know I have had the procedure are family. It's really no one else's business. It's personal. Sent from my XT1096 using the BariatricPal App -

You should increase your Protein and lower your carbs. Keep your calories under 800. You have to write down everything you put in your stomach and the Cal, carb and protein values. You'll be surprised how quickly those carbs add up. Sent from my XT1096 using the BariatricPal App
