Hi all... I'm slowly adding in foods after 1 month post-op. I travel about 60% of my time for work, I find I just can't go through a fast food drive-through anymore. I went to lunch with coworkers to a local diner, which food choices were your typical pub sandwiches, salads, fried stuff, appetizers chili...etc. I would love some restaurant suggestions from those that travel a lot. Plus how you manage situations where food choices were very limited. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

First adult beverage post sleeve?
Stlchase replied to KimT12272016's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I got sleeved on Jan 31 and I've been adjusting well actually too well, it's kind of scary. Anyway I was quite the social drinker before i got sleeved, heck my dad work at Anheuser -Busch. I tell people that I was weaned on beer. lol. . I think beer is the one thing that I'm going to miss. With that said, I'm not going to attempt to drink alcohol for at least 3 to 4 months. I just know, I need to focus on getting food under control before alcohol can come back into my life. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

my surgery is tomorrow and I decided to keep it private. I will tell people I'm following a very strict physician weight loss program. In time I will tell people, but that's when I'm ready. It's a tough & personal call. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App -

I need to let my husband read this thread, I think this will help him understand. In my opinion, unless you walked in "our shoes" that lead us down this path, you'll never truly understand. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App -
How did you get through pre-op liquid diet?
Stlchase replied to CocoNina's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I am starting my 4 day pre-op liquid diet tomorrow, surgery is scheduled for Tuesday. Sounds like it all depends on the Doctor & your own individual health history. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App -

I'm getting ready to have mine next week, I told 6 people. I made it very clear they are to respect my privacy, because of the negative comments that people would say. Don't need judgmental comments when your trying to make a significant change. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App -
