I can relate to what you said. I am tired of my back hurting all the time. Tired of my knees hurting. Tired of feeling like **** all the time. Tired of being so immobile. It seemed to me he was trying to determine whether or not I was a food addict and a binge eater. We talked about my relationship with food. I was stressed about the psych evaluation too and it wasn't a big deal. The psychiatrist told me in some very rare cases he will not approve patients for the procedure, but that seldomly happens. Surgery will be 08-31-17 at 8:30 am 27 days and counting. Preop diet starts soon. Have to do 3 weeks of no carbs and no fats to shrink my liver. I just want to see pounds coming off. Hi Peeps, I finally have my surgery date. It seems like these six months have taken soooooo long. I am scheduled for 08-31-17 I have to do the liver shrink diet for 3 weeks instead of the standard two weeks. I am so excited and nervous and cannot wait to be in the post op stages. I am scared that my liver won't shrink enough and my surgeon will get in there and have to abort the procedure. He said the chances of that happening are extremely rare, but I am still worried. I am stressed something is going to come up to prevent me from getting the surgery. I am so tired of being in constant pain. I am tired of struggling to put my shoes on. I am tired of my lower back hurting constantly. Not only that, my wife's weight loss is making her incredibly horny and she wants to jam all the time. I am worried about mine. My doctor told me he normally requires a 2 week preop diet, but for me I have to do 3 weeks. I am scared my liver won't shrink enough, they will get in there for surgery and have to abort the procedure. I know I am catastrophizing, but I am still stressed. Hi All, Just wanted to provide an update. My wife was sleeved yesterday and she is in a lot of pain. We were not mentally prepared for how much pain she would be in. She has had two C sections, gall bladder removed, appendix removed and hiatal hernia repair and handled those like a champ. After sleeve surgery she is miserable. She is having buyers remorse.
