I know everyone has a different experience. I would like to know what parts of the post op in the hospital were the most difficult? Pain or liquids. I was told my pain has to be under control and keeping liquids down. I will not have the x-ray study for the leak. This surgeon does a scope (EGD) at the end while still in surgery to check for any leaks. Has anyone had that procedure done right on the OR table. I will still be asleep. Thanks. I too had a hard time. I was required to do Optifast for a week pre op. By the 2nd day I was so lightheaded and sweating. I called and the PA allowed me to stay with the shakes for Breakfast and lunch but at dinner have lean Protein like baked plain chicken and vegetables. No sauces. Could have seasoning but no salt. Definitely easier to do. Surgery is tomorrow. I too am worried and hope my liver has shrunk. Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
