Hi, the best thing you can do is listen to your doctor, afterall, you hired 'em.
Mine has taken a different approach...old school. If it hurts - don't do it. If you are hungry - eat.
There are a few foods I can't tolerate and will not ever eat again. McDonalds hamburgers, Arby's roast beef sandwich, Taco Belle crunchwrap & cheesy beefy melt, whole apple.
These got stuck and hurt like the dickens to get it unstuck.
The band for me has been about reducing the amount of food I eat and making it my normal lifestyle to simply eat enough to sustain me but no more. And that's gonna take time as it took 30 years to get this way, it's gonna take a while to relearn how to eat.
