    Gum

I chewed a piece of gum, without even thinking about it. I had the worse gas pain ever, while I was at work. I felt like I was going to explode. No more fun for me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. I was sleeved on 11/28/16, and am down 34lbs. I had a b12 shot the week before surgery, then the week after and the beginning of this month. I have one more in February, but it doesn't seem to be helping. I take all my Vitamins, and eat meat with high Protein. I'm doing everything I should, but I am constantly exhausted lately. I was wondering if anyone else has had or is having this same problem? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. I started my weightloss journey march of 2016 and didn't have my surgery until November. Because I had to wait 6 months for my insurance, plus get all my clearances. It all depends on your insurance company. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Am I on track?

I was sleeved on 11/28/16. I also didn't see a difference becuz of the gas n iv fluids. I was off work for 3 wks becuz of the nature of my job, and I slept a lot. Plus, look at everything your body just went thru, it needs time to adjust to ur new stomach. It's true you heal when you sleep and by me sleeping a lot, when I went back to work I felt great, I had restrictions of course. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. My surgery was 11/28/16 & I'm down 30lbs so far. When I was waiting to go into surgery, my parents told me that they would take me shopping for new clothes as my delayed Christmas gift lol. So I haven't really thought about what to do when I hit my goal weight. I know that I can't wait to fit in some cute shirts I bought in lrg and xl and not feel embarrassed. I have about 60 lbs to go to hit my goal weight. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. I was sleeved on 11/28/16 Sw: 217lbs Cw: 186 lbs But I have stalled the last week and half and it's frustrating. But I hv to look at; it took years to put it on, and yes more then half my stomachs gone, but my body needs to adjust. So I keep doing what I'm doing and moving forward waiting for my plateau to move along. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    New food ideas..

I have been eating light string cheese, banana w smooth Peanut Butter, cottage cheese mixed w canned fruit in a 100% fruit juice w alittle bit of stevia on it. I always am grabbing a cheese stick or 2 at work about every two hours to help keep up some of my Protein. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Transtioning to solids?

I started soft foods about a week and a half ago. I have so far been ok w eggs, but hard boiled seem to work better and don't make me nauseous. I also eat light string cheese, I have also tried ground turkey patties, chicken, melons, and cooked spinach, broccoli and mushrooms. I have also ate a banana w smooth Peanut Butter too. I haven't had a problem with anything so far. Just getting tired of the same ol stuff. I just can't wait to eat raw fruits and veggies and eat a spinach salad. 9. I had my surgery for the sleeve on Nov 28. I had alittle bit of pain when I first woke up, but they give you med for that. I had gas from the air they fill your stomach with, but my nurse gave me baby gas drops which helped along with walking. I'm a sissy when it comes to pain, that's why I don't have kids. Lol but the pain was tolerable for me. It is all based on your mind set as well, don't worry about it. I just told myself that the pain is temporary, but the outcome is worth it for your health and rest of your life. I only stayed 1 night in the hospital, the more you move around the better. Gas x strips work wonderful as well when you get home. Don't freak out, you will be fine. Don't think about it, I know easier said then done. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
