Before I had my procedure done, I had such a way of living that didn´t really followed my dreams and hopes and aspirations. I was always insecure, and it goes without saying that my health was in such a state that I was always in and out of the hospital for problems with my respiratory system and my gastric system. It was a long journey before I decided I wanted to go through with the surgery. I had to make the decision for myself, for my own benefit and thinking about my future, what I wanted and how I wanted to continue to live my life, if I wanted to keep feeling bad about my appearance or if I wanted to be pro active and make a change for the better, to take action, to take matters into my own hands and do what was best for me and start doing it by doing research about the different procedures and doctors, looking at forums like this one, and making my decision. I chose Dr. Frayre because he ha such an expertise and good history, and a good team to work with, and most of all, the care that he gives to his patients is what makes the difference of it all. My life has totally change and I´m really happy about it.

My Surgery Experience in Tijuana
barbaraf replied to GBLady41's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I had such a good experience as well and feel so happy to hear about good stories. I had my surgery with Dr. Frayre and his team is A-MA-ZIN-G! From the moment I got picked up at the airport, to the service and care I got at the hotel, to the care and service I got at the hospital and the staff, of course my surgery and post op care, and the days I was at the hospital, everything went by smoothly. For the price that I payed, it included the hospital and hotel stay, surgery, my post op meds, ground transportation, and the extremely personal and excellent personal care. I am beyond happy and grateful with my experience! -
Anyone just skip the insurance hoops & go to Mexico?

I had such a pleasant experience going to México and having surgery over there. As many of you have expressed I also wasn´t covered by my insurance so I went to Tijuana and after many months of research because it is my health we are talking about, decided to go with Dr. Frayre. BEST DECISION EVER! his team is totally professional, personal care, since I got to the hotel, the hospital, pre op, post op, after care, everything, he even checked up on me after my surgery months after! I can honestly say I was so happy with my results! -

barbaraf replied to AK_Bookworm's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
It´s normal to be nervous about the surgery,I remember I was. Not as much as you seem to be though.. Haha! Don´t worry about it, you´ll be fine.. and this new way of living is the best for you health and your self! I´m forever grateful with Dr. Frayre and his team, they truly changed my life with the procedure I had done now I can´t seem to think of another lifestyle or way of living.. best of luck!
