I was banded May 13th. I have been filled 4 times July 14 -5cc, Aug 13 -1cc, Sept 3 -2cc and Oct 1 -1cc. I felt no restriction untill Sept fill. I lost 30 pounds pre and post op but since have been stable in my weight. After the Sept fill I really had to slow down when eating of i would throw it up, but once I go it started if I went slow I could eat quite a bit. My last fill Oct 1st They put in 2cc and I could not drink the water they gave me only about 3 oz then I threw it up so they took out 1cc. I thought I must be there now. I have to be even more carefull to go slow but still can eat more than I should if I go slow. Fairly normal in my eating but I am making better choices. I am not sure what to do, try to get more fill or try to stop eating sooner. ( If I was good at that I would not have needed the surgery.) Those in the "sweet spot", how much can you eat at a setting? I have not gained anything I lost but I am ready to get on with some losing, I have stayed the same too long. Anyone else have this issue?

Do what is right for you. research and figure out what fits you. My wife had gastric bypass and has done well. A year and 3 months later I had lapband. Why, because I did not want my insides rearranged. Just me and how I felt. I tried to keep up with my wife on my own and could not. After much soul searching and research I decided lapband would work for me. I had it done May 13th after 2 weeks before on liquids and now 2 weeks after on liquids I have dropped 30 pounds. I know this will slow down but a nice start to make up for just having liquids. I know eating right will be the key but one thing I have noticed about my wife if we do eat someting like pizza she has a few bites and is done. Enjoyed what she had and sastified. I look forward to that. To have a little and be sastifed sound great. Why do I need 1/2 a 16" pizza to be sastified? As they say " nothing tastes as good as thin"

I agree, mine was May 13th and I have told few people. I think men are more private. it was a personel decision and I will tell people when they notice a difference in me. I think it will be more interesting when I have lost enought to be obvious.

That is fantastic! I hope to have mine in April. My weight is very close to your start weight. If I am where you are next year I will be one happy camper!

I have not yet had the surgury but have one more GP doctors appt and have been through the physcological test. I expect to be able to schedule my surgery sometime in April. I am a Senior Account Manager (that just means I am a sales guy who has been around a while.) I spend a lot of time on the road so preplanned meals and stopping to eat at a proper place is often hard. I am looking for any information I can find on how to manage eating on the road.
