First, 31 pounds lost is that many you didn't gain. Second, how many do you want to lose? From what to weight to what goal weight? As others noted, you're doing a LOT, maybe too much, exercise. At least you're building muscle and reducing fat. I'll bet your measurements are shrinking faster than your weight. But most important do you have a GOOD fill. What are you eating? How many calories? What kinds of food? Let us know more so we can help more. Also, consider joining SmarterBandsters on Yahoogroups. A good place for support, particularly of the "tough love" variety. dan

Green onions are green onions, not white or red ones. They're long and skinny, white at the bottom, long green tops. Chives are much thinner and not really any white at the bottom. I'm sure you can put in or take out almost any of it. But I'm not advocating this as anything to do except clean out your colon and make you lose some Water weight. If you think that's good, and accept that you'll gain much of it back, go for it. honu

Veggies are fine, though many with a tight band will find that cabbage gets stuck pretty easily. But, to each her (or his) own. honu

on this diet....but that doesn't mean it'll stay off any more than other such junk as the "lemonade diet", which is similar but worse. They say they'll "remove impurities", which they will, as long as that means anything in your intestinal system. If you do this, be sure you're close to a bathroom. Also, this is almost completely Protein free, and I don't believe a week without protein is good for any of us. Protein is vital for good health, for building muscle (to replace that ugly fat), and on and on. Once your body is cleaned out and your GI system has its normal complement of food that is being processed in it you'll gain the weight back, same as on any other of the "lose ten pounds in a week" things. Do they work? Yes. Are they healthy? No. Will you gain the weight back? Yes. Most of us have done this kind of nonsense many times before, and we lose ten pounds and gain back fifteen. Now that we're banded, why mess with this nonsense? honu

I've probably met a bunch of you on various Yahoo groups, including ones I mangage. Info about my 2 2/3 years with a band is available on my website, www.mylapband.tk No, I don't work for any doctors or companies...I'm just an elderly geeky guy who live son the computer, at home and work. I do, however, have a life...wife, grown kids, grandkids, etc. I'm happy with my band, my doctor, my plastic surgeon, and the rest of my life.
