I just had VSG this last Thursday 1/5. So far so good. I can tell my stomach is still inflamed and it's hard to get liquids down currently but each day gets better. I have already lost 10 pds which was surprising to me as I thought I would be heavier after surgery. Glad to find a forum with people who are in a similar stage. liquids are getting easier and I was able to start on full liquids today. Omg panera tomato Soup was amazing (well not all of it lol) and for the first time in a week I feel like I have a little umph. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Thank you so much for writing out your journey. I thought I would be able to get sleeved before the summer then it turned into fall and I was just sleeved on 1/5. My surgeon didn't have any weight loss requirements pre surgery so I didn't have to do that. I look forward to following your journey.
