I'm 5weeks post-op and I found that Boca veggie burgers, Greek vanilla yogurt, 93%lean ground beef meatballs, and baked chicken breast shredded worked well for me. Shrimps, fish and eggs too.

I tend to burp a lot to. I never had a problem burping but now it's more frequent. If there are certain foods that cause more gas then others you might want to avoid those foods.

30moms replied to pgadd56's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
pgadd56 I saved my pain meds for night time relief if needed. I am in week three post-op. I still feel pain but not as strong for the pain meds. -
Thank you that did help. I purchased soy milk from my list and found out I will get 6g of protein but I only get 1.50g per 1\4cup. That's four out of six meals a day.[emoji21] Sent from my B1-810 using the BariatricPal App

30moms replied to regnamie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Regnamie I don't know if this will help you but I just open the capsules into my mouth and then swallow some water to move it around and drink it down. Sent from my B1-810 using the BariatricPal App -
FAT2LESS My list for my two weeks says to avoid Protein drinks and supplements unless the surgeon says so. I have to get my protein from my food and different kinds of milk.

Berry78 Yes I lost 35lbs. before the diet and 22lbs pre-op and 6lbs. post-op. I just find it a little hard calculating some of the Proteins when your not eating the full amount of anything.

30moms replied to yasmeenelmajed's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hey I just got sleeved on the 25th and I was totally scared about the injections too. They showed me that if you pinch enough skin on your stomach and put the needle in quick you won't feel it so much. Sent from my B1-810 using the BariatricPal App -

Messed up already?
30moms replied to AshleyinOnederland's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
No. I think they have to be sugar free popsicles. The Outshine no sugar added worked wonders for me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Popsicle brand sugar free popsicles are the ones to by because I made the mistake of buying outshine popsicles because it said no sugar added but it does have sugar. Already sleeved question
30moms replied to sleeveme17's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I actually thought that if I didn't lose the weight on my own that surgery was the easy way out. I was totally wrong. Getting healthy is hard no matter how you go about it and realizing you need more than a salad and excercise to make it gives you strength. Sent from my B1-810 using the BariatricPal App -
My surgery date is January 25th 2017. The one thing that helped me during the liquid diet for three weeks without going through caffeine withdrawals was starting the eating process early by using artificial sweeteners, no sodas and decaf coffee. Now I have to face the surgery. My starting weight was 389lbs. I lost 35lbs. own my own and 12 more since this diet. Now I am 342lbs. Sent from my B1-810 using the BariatricPal App
