    I have told my wife of course, my kids, parents and in laws and just a couple people from work that needed to know.

    I have been on a 800 calorie 5 optifast shake a day diet since Tuesday. 10lbs down so far. I have tolerated it fairly well. Tonight I made mississippi pot roast for the family. I took some of the broth and chilled it. Them scraped the fat off of the top, then reheated. Man, that hit the spot and was only about 2oz of broth.

    They are telling me it will be my $1000 deductible plus the $2500 coinsurance max. Of course if I have other medical bills between now and then that will be subtracted.     The coordinator at my WLS clinic, says they have done a lot of state employees and it's one or the other. I am supposed to have my first call today with active health, but am going to cancel it until I can get a clear picture from my clinic. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
