  2. My husband just did this to me as well.. over a teaspoon of simple syrup in my oatmeal. Then he told me to fail ... he was tired of trying to support me if I was just going to hurt myself with bad choices. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    1wk post-op!

I had mine done a week ago as well. Just getting to the point where I can tolerate chicken broth so I was able to meet my liquid goals. I am able to do sf popsicles and sf crystal lite. I tried at Jello and it tasted horrible. Not sure if it was just the flavor or what. I was thinking of trying some Soup today. What Soups are you having success with? January 2017 Sleevers!

I hope so. I tried to sip on some chicken broth and the smell made me dry heave. I am doing better on liquid today so hopefully by Wednesday I can start the protein shakes. Doctor said that the protein can cause gas pains as well. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Gas pains

I had my sleeve done on the 4th as well and I am still battling gas pains as well. I am walking constantly; doc told me yesterday to use tums to help relieve the gas but it isn't as great as Gas X from what I have read. I had acid reflux before surgery and was told to keep taking the nexium after surgery to help with the reflux and burning. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

How are you feeling now? Sent from my SM-G920P using the BariatricPal App Still having some gas pains no matter how much I am moving around; haven't been able to keep anything down except water. Doctor said most important thing is to stay hydrated. I am trying my best to keep at least 64 oz down. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
