    Ice Cream Post Op

My surgery isn't until February 13th, but I had the class last week. People asked about ice cream because it's soft. The nutritionist said no we could not eat it since ice cream is full of calories. Height 5'0" Weight for consultation: 216 lbs. Pre-op Weight: Unknown until January 20th. My profile picture is not me. It's my "FitSpiration" body.

    Secret Surgery

Thank you all for your suggestions & input. I'm glad I'm not the only one that will keep my surgery a secret. OutsideMatchInside, You're absolutely right, 95% of the population still believes diet and excersise work. I'm glad I wasn't crazy when I went to the workshop/seminar and the doctor explained why diet & exercise fail majority of the time for already obese people. 6-weeks post op when I decide to slowly get back to my social life it will look believable since I'll be eating smaller portions and healthier anyway. I will ask my surgeon about what the medical note will say & use that for work and school. I was worried it would say I had weight loss surgery but you made a good point about HIPPA that I forgot about. Height 5'0" Weight for consultation: 216 lbs. Pre-op Weight:

    Secret Surgery

That's a good question. Personally, I'm wearing sweats & big jackets since it's winter so I'm hiding my weight so it won't look that "drastic" when it's nice weather season again. I also post on social media sometimes of my workout and diet eating. So, right now before surgery I look (& am) doing something about my weight. So people shouldn't be too shocked when I get smaller. 4. I don't know what my goal weight is yet since my surgeon will tell me January 20th. But I'm in a similar boat. I'm healthy, was pretty active at the gym, and I have a physical job but I could never get below 195 lbs & I'm 5'0". I'm sure I will have less than 100 lbs required to lose since I'm 216 lbs now. I carry my weight well. I told my hair stylist I wanted to get weight loss surgery & she told me I don't need it since my fat is in "all the right places". I've tried almost every diet imaginable but I get hungrier and give up. I have an issue with portion control and sweets. You're not alone and I'm glad to see another "shorty" too heavy for their BMI. No one knows I'm doing this surgery except my boyfriend & good girlfriend because I don't want to hear people's opinions. In clothes I carry my weight well but naked I'm disgusted with myself. Good luck to all of us. Height 5'0" Weight for consultation: 216 lbs. Pre-op Weight:

    Liquid diet

I start my 2-weeks pre op liquid diet January 30th. I know it's not as easy as it sounds but I'm planning on being busy those 2 weeks to keep my mind off food. Hang in there! Short pain/sacrifice for a life changing result. Height 5'0" Weight for consultation: 216 lbs. Pre-op Weight:
  7. Hi everyone, I'm new to this site but have been a browser for weeks now. My sleeve procedure is set for February 13th! The day before Valentines Day. The sleeve is a better treat. I can't wait, I'm more excited than nervous. Height 5'0" Weight for consultation: 216 lbs. Pre-op Weight:
