I'm 3-days post op. My cravings have gone since I'm sore from surgery. I can barely stomach anything including Water right now. Yes, I feel full even after a sip of water. My nurse & doctor said I can only take Tylenol now. I hope I don't gain weight again. Height 5'0" Weight for WLS consultation: 216 lbs. That's far-fetched "all the glory overshadow the people that are hurting, dying, in, and out of the hospital". The hospital I had my sleeve done has ZERO fatalities. And this is surgery, what do you expect? There are always risks to going under the knife. And your comment about divorcing? That's why you make sure you have supportive people around you. If someone divorces you for this, they didn't hold their vow to stay with you through thick & thin. You're over generalizing. Height 5'0" Weight for WLS consultation: 216 lbs. I'm 3 days post op. My 1st two days I had "sleever's regret" but that's because I'm in so much pain. I'm better today now that I'm home comfortable. I'm on in since I'm on the two week pre-op & I don't want to be malnourished. I take chewy calcium twice a day from Bariatric Advantage. 1 multivitamin a day from Unjury. 1 iron before bed. 2-weeks pre-op liquid diet, when are you used to it?
CocoNina posted a topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hello, I'm on Day 3 of the 2-weeks pre-op liquid diet. Day 1 was hard, Day 2 seemed okay. Now it's the evening of Day 3 and I'm cranky and hungry. I sip on diet Snapple and Premier Protein all day and night but tonight it's really hitting me that I'm not eating. I feel like my sense of smell got stronger too because I smell food. I even smell what I'm craving (shrimp tempura, fried chicken, chocolate, burritos, & quesadillas). I have not cheated. I don't want to cheat because I don't want to risk being open in the operating room just to close my stomach and say I can't get the surgery done. How long did it take for you to get used to this? Like, what day of this pre-op liquid diet were you finally fine? I can't wait for that day. This will be a long two weeks. Height 5'0" Weight for consultation: 216 lbs. Pre-op Weight: Unknown until January 20th. My profile picture is not me. It's my "FitSpiration" body. -

2-weeks pre-op liquid diet, when are you used to it?
CocoNina replied to CocoNina's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
@@Sunshine4247 I'm not focusing on food. It's all around me. I smell it when I come home when my neighbors are cooking, I smell it when I work (I'm in the grocery industry at that), and when I drive (BBQ smell, Mexican food, etc...). Someone in class was eating before class started & the aroma of the food was so strong. So, I'm not focusing on food. I see & smell it everywhere I go. I can't lock myself at home until surgery. EXCITED! untill I watch my 600 lb life
CocoNina replied to chynadoll619's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I've been a yo yo dieter. Low carb, high Protein I've done so many times. It's time to end this yo-yo-ing for good & get this needed surgery. I believe that TV show only shows the extreme. Any type of surgery has a risk of complications. You just have to do what feels rights in your heart. It's scary but so many people have survived & you're healthy, no diabetes or health issues. You have a better chance of healing good because of that. Height 5'0" Weight for consultation: 216 lbs. Pre-op Weight: Unknown until January 20th. My profile picture is not me. How do you handle people asking questions
CocoNina replied to XmeghannstarX's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
My significant other & close friend know I'm getting the surgery. No one else does. I played around with the thought of telling when I told my hairstylist "I think I should get weight loss surgery" & she said I wouldn't qualify & that I could lose weight on my own since I'm not that big :eye roll:: little did she know I was approved. I can't stand people's negativity. So, I'm keeping this a secret. My surgery isn't till next month but I post my workouts & healthy food on social media so people will believe I'm doing "the norm". That's all I'll say to people. I'm eating healthy by cutting carbs, working out, & stopped drinking Diet Coke. Height 5'0" Weight for consultation: 216 lbs. Pre-op Weight: Unknown until January 20th.
