Great job! Do you have before/now pictures? How much have you lost? How far out are you? -
How did you handle changing clothing size ?

I am also a member of GB! Think of it like Netflix for clothes. For the $100 a month, you get three things at one time. So they send you a box with three things, you can wear those three things as often as you want and for as long as you want. If you only like two of them, you return the third and they send you out a different item to replace that one. If you decide you really love any or all of them, and don't want to return them, you can purchase them, often for a really good price. But why would you want to do that when your size is changing so often? Wear them until they're too big, and then return them. Then they will send you three more things that you can wear as much as you want and return again. For me it has been an amazingly perfect solution for my changing size. The only thing I'm running into now is that a lot of their options are bordering on too big for me, even in the smallest sizes! I will be really sad to see my subscription no longer worth the price, but I will be really blessed to know that I am no longer in those sizes! -

Plateau, not a stall

Have you tried switching up your exercise and doing 2 days of strength training instead of 2 of your cardio days? Your body may be used to the activities you're doing, so those won't cut it for weight loss anymore? Just guessing; I'm hardly an expert! [emoji2] -

I bought one! I like it, and it lets you add other liquids, manually, by ounces, so you can tell it you had 16 oz of juice or whatever other liquids you're having. One of the things I do not like is that you can only have pure water in the bottle. If you add any flavorings like powder or lemon, it might affect the sensor. I can't stand plain water these days, so I tend to use the feature that I can add my other liquids and just drink one full bottle of plain water.

MyFitnessPal is pretty boring, but you can choose how many months or years you want to see in your progress data, and the little graphic line plummeting downward is pretty great! -

Love love love the Mount Auburn Weight Center! I first began this journey about four years ago seeing someone at Massachusetts general hospital. I had such a bad experience with this particular doctor's attitude that I gave up for a while. Finding Mount Auburn really changed my whole outlook. It is so important to find a center and a surgeon that really jives with you Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
calling all December 2016 sleevers!
eclecticavatar replied to OhHeyMarina's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi surgery buddies! Love that there are a few of us for December 19th. Merry Christmas/happy Hanukkah to us, huh? Things are going well I think. The glue is coming off of my incisions and that's kind of gross, but I am pretty much past the pain. I am getting my Protein but not doing as well with fluids as I could be. I go back to work on Monday and I'm wondering if that's going to be a struggle. I hit a weight-loss stall and the scale hadn't budged in the past seven days but this morning I was back down the extra pound I had gained since the stall started. I think this is the "three week stall," it just happened a little early for me? I think it was a combination of not getting enough Water, and also eating a little too much on my stage 4/vaguely solid foods diet that I was allowed to start. No clue. Just frustrating. I was 250 when I started and 226 day of surgery, down to 216 now. -
