Hi all. I am 37, was banded by Mathew St. Laurent in Houston TX and am being followed by a wonderful Dr in College Station, Gerald Garwood. I couldn't ask for better. :scared2:

Loosing this much weight is totally doable. I started on my Journey to healthy with my top weight of 480. I am now down to 380 and am continuing to loose. Just keep doing what your supposed to, and keep a support system of friends/ family/ medical people around you. You can do it...and so can I !!! -
My husband and I found out this past monday that we were going to have a baby, and then in a span of less than 2 hours, I was having a miscarriage. We have wanted a baby for so long. I was banded July 2007 and have lost 100 pounds and counting. My concern now is miscarriage common with the band? Has anyone else been dealing with this kind of issue?:scared2:

Dr Garwood got me started on the lapband process and has followed me the whole time. He is compassionate and takes time to answer all your questions. I couldn't ask for better.:scared2:
