  1. I live a little over 2 hours away from where my surgery was done. I stayed overnight and we went home the next morning. I slept most of the way and had no issues. I made sure to walk A LOT at the hospital, several times during the night, etc, so I did not have much pain after the surgery. I also put a pillow over my stomach and help pressure on it during the ride. Helps with the bumps.
  2. I had the same issue with diarrhea for about 3 weeks post op. Everything seemed to level out after I was able to start eating regular foods. I do feel the air bubbles if I eat to fast or too much. It does eventually get easier. I am 6 months post opp and feel much better now. I still get the air bubble feeling if I eat or drink too fast so it is just adjusting to eat and drink slower. Hope this helps.

    Nutribullet??

I have the magic bullet and it is amazing for its price and size. I used it to puree foods and for making smoothies. For the price, I feel you can go wrong with the magic bullet. I also have a Ninja blending system that is fantastic but is more expensive.
  4. I have lost 51 pounds in 3 months, which is actually a bit more than I expected honestly. I am sticking strictly to my diet plan and it is working very well. I have no regrets and do feel this was the best thing that I could have done for me.
  5. I was sleeved in December. I was off work for a week ( I have a desk job). I started back to the gym the week following, only doing light cardio. At 4 weeks my doctor released me for full workouts. I did not have much pain at all. I did not use pain medicines after I left the hospital. Make sure to walk as much as possible. It seemed to help me. I am now 3 months out and am feeling great. My energy level seems to go up and down, but I am a CPA and that could be due to tax season. We will see how that improved after April 15th.

    Excited and nervous

Congratulations! That is very exciting! I think it is a good decision on your part. Hopefully with the excess skin removed you will be able to move easier and it will help you get to your goal sooner. Good luck!

    Work

I had surgery on a Tuesday and went back to work the following Monday. I have a desk job as well. It wasn't the easiest to do, but is definitely possible. I made sure to get up and walk a lot and really didn't have any major issues. Was just tired and weak.

    Stalls

I will be 2 months post on the 27th. I am also in a stall at this point. I am trying to increase my calories some and see if that will help. Would love to hear some advice on this.

    Curious

I actually lost 20 pounds in the first week. I was amazed and a little concerned. But everyone's body reacts differently. I slowed down considerably after that. I would say it is possible but not usual. Good luck!
