  1. I was sleeved on the 18th. I did not have any gas pains, but I believe it's because I used essential oils in my feet the morning of the surgery and had it reapplied by my husband that evening in my hospital room. I only got nauseous in the hospital once after asking for some Tylenol for the headache I had. It was so syrupy and it was grape flavored, which I've never liked. When I got home, I did have a hard time getting my Protein and Water down for the first few days. Not until day 4 did I finally get 2 nectar Protein drinks (60g total) down and chicken broth. Of course lots of water too. This Wednesday I moved up to full liquid vs clear liquid and now drinking a vanilla Premier Protien shake in the morning, Choclate Premier Protien for lunch and BariatricPal Cream of Chicken Soup for lunch. I do water down my Premier Protien shakes with water a little as they are pretty thick. I had hernia and sleeve surgeries. After walking 1.5 miles yesterday, I was a little sore, but overall doing good. Bless you on your journey! Would love to hear how you're doing. God bless! Georgette Sent from my iPhone

Two weeks post op and gaining?

@"daisy63" After I posted this, I read a few other posts and I realized that I really do need to put the scale away. I wholeheartedly believe the sleeve is a tool and if I keep doing what is recommended, it will all work out. It's going to be ok. I'll keep you in my prayers, which I need to remind myself that God is in control if I let him be. God bless you on this journey. Stay positive and keep us posted. You're going to be fine. 4. I'm 10 days post op and was doing great! Got off clear liquid diet Wednesday and have gained 3lbs in 3 days. I've actually increased my exercise. I'm walking at least 1 mile/day (yesterday was 1.5 mikes) and I've been able to increase my Protein to 60grams since getting on full liquid diet. I didn't think this would bother me, but couldn't sleep thinking I'm doing something wrong. Has anyone else experienced this? My calorie intake is still under 500. Sleeping on side.

I saw in another post suggested to sleep on back. Is there a reason why? I have a very hard time sleeping on my back. My incinsions don't hurt sleeping on my side. My surgery was 1/18/17. Thanks for any info. Georgette Sent from my iPhone

My sleeve surgery seems almost too easy. So far.

Thank you. I was fortunate to be able to get in and out of my own bed first night home (day 2). I'm a side sleeper, so that was tricky, but actually got into a comfy spot for most of the night. I haven't taken any pain meds today, yet. Resting a lot though. I did take a nausea pill when I first got up though. Was able to get my multi Vitamin down today and am drinking Water and chicken broth. I'm having trouble drinking 48 oz. working up to it for sure. Thanks again for your comments. My sleeve surgery seems almost too easy. So far.

Just had my surgery yesterday the 18th. Was doing good until this morning and the incisions hurt badly. Not having the gas pains but I believe it's from using my essential oils on my feet before the surgery. I know it's sounds crazy but they work. Now I'm home and the worst part is getting up. Incisions are sore sore sore. Any idea how long that lasts? Georgette Georgette Sent from my iPhone

    January 2017 Sleevers!

I had mine done on the 18th. I was able to bypass most of the gas discomfort by using my Young Living essential oils. Today I woke up pretty sore though. How are you doing? Georgette Sent from my iPhone
