Buddy for reset after sleeve
MsPerisha replied to taylormarie421's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Oh, I would love to do a reset! I had the Bypass though but it doesn't matter! Sent from my SM-G925V using the BariatricPal App -
Congratulations! I am from Chicago, but living in Texas. I have a couple of friends and family members who had the surgery currently living in Chicago. I can ask them where they went for support groups. Did you doctor's office give any recommendations or even have a support group available?

Band removal and possible sleeve revision in the morning
MsPerisha replied to DecemberSleeve's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
My insurance didn't require a lot other than proving the band had failed. An upper GI showed mine had slipped. My surgeon required a visit with psych, nut, exercise physiologist and a bariatrician. The bariatrician was to get me on a diet plan to lose weight pre surgery. The whole process started September 22 and I was sleeved December 29. Insurance approval for removal took 7 days. Insurance approval for the sleeve took 2 weeks.Wow, you had to go through insurance twice...removal and of course the sleeve. Great info! It's all coming together! Thank you! Band removal and possible sleeve revision in the morning

Glad things went well. I am seriously thinking of a revision. Was your process the same as your initial surgery...such as required documents to show attempts of losing weight, seeing many professionals prior to (psych, nut), and the length of time in general ( initial interest to surgery date)? I have been researching revision for days and was hoping to get more info!! -
Hi, I have RNY from 2011. I take the same medication as well. It works really well and kills my appetite. Honestly, I never had a problem with any medication. As a matter if fact they worked quite quickly!
