    Hello, all. I am new here. I started my program in July 2016, and I am scheduled for surgery in two weeks, on Jan 26. I am excited, but very nervous. I guess I am just wondering if anyone else here is in similar circumstances. I am 61, in a wheelchair for 7 years, diabetic, diminished lung capacity, and sleep issues. Am I crazy for doing this? Any similar 'crazies' out there? Surgery twins? General advice? Thanks!

      You are not crazy. You are smart to take control of your health. This is a lifestyle change, not a diet. Following your surgeons plan can lead to success. Great decision!
