    Pre op liquid diet

I am 7 months post op and I had very thick hair to start with and my hair has thinned alot. It is just now starting to grow back. It also has to do with lack of protein. Keep good track of your protein in take and try a prenatal vitamin for hair and nails... Good luck :-)

Eating More @ 7 months out

My nutritionist said I could start the maintenance phase soon but we want to lose a few more lbs. I am good with my numbers now but would like to lose a little more. I try to include protein in all of my food, somehow, because I cant stomach the protein shakes since 2 month post op. I have switched things up with using ground turkey or whole wheat noodles, so it sounds awful what I am eating but I swear its not all as bad as it sounds. Just was concerned if my stomach would stretch out this soon. I have a hard time digesting raw veggies (salads etc.) Thank you for replying and I am going to use your advice and keep going on the Weight Loss Phase while it still lasts.

Eating More @ 7 months out

I have only been stretched out once. I could tell a difference the very next day. I believe they got it to 12 or 14mm.
  4. Hi Beautiful people, I have a question and need a little advice. I had bypass in Dec 2016 at first things were rough and I was getting sick 3 to 4 times a day. They went in April and stretched my opening a few cm and haven't been sick since. I am now noticing that I am able to eat a lot more. I can finish a full breakfast sandwich and I was able to eat a whole piece of lasagna. Last night I had a sloppy Joe sandwich without the top bun and I was still hungry. Any one able to eat more this soon out? Just feeling nervous that I am eating to much. Thoughts!!!

    Daily Vomiting

I was having the same problem and thru up daily multiple times no matter what I ate or how slow I ate it. Went to my dr and they did upper GI which was normal and then they did a scope and found that the opening to my pouch was to small so they had to do a balloon and stretched it out. I still get sick occasionally but not near as much. And most foods stay down now. I would def talk to your dr.

    Popcorn

So update. I did eat some popcorn at the movie and I ended up throwing up about 1/2 way thru the movie. And then I was up all night with gas and belly pain. Never again, not worth it. Live and Learn! Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
