Hi there. I had been sleeved on the 5th. I lost 6kg a stone or 13lbs. I can't be happier. I tend to feel hungry at times but I am ok as long as I am shredding of the weight. I feel like I smell better specially around food hhhhh. I saw my Surgeon today and he want me to move to full liquids. Can't wait to have yoghurt and gave green light for Protein shakes. However, he want me on puréed food after 4 days for one week then a week turn soft food I think that's too fast and I just want to lose weight. I might go one week full liquid then 2 weeks purée before I move soft food. I will keep you updated. Back to old me soon

Hi. My dr said it's not as long it's regulated. I am 7 days out and I lost 9 lb. I have read bmi plays a role into losing weight. Your 8lbs is good too considering that before sleeve it would have been harder to lose a pound. Keep positive I have Hashimoto and take 100mg levothyroxine Back to old me soon

Hi moliver4u and faith 16. Welcome here. I am still on clear liquids. I eat home made chicken broth for lunch and Multivitamin milk for Breakfast and dinner. That's all I can have along with Water. I would drink camomile tea instead of coffee and tea. But half a cup once a day. I do feel hungry specially when I feed my family and last night at the local club as there was BBQ open buffet. The smell was too much but I coped at the end with water sips. I lost 9 lbs in 7 days Back to old me soon

Hi faith16. I am a week post op. Glad to hear you are well. It's the same with me today I feel like very normal. My dr asked me Clear liquids 10 days sf and fat free. I had hernia repaired and gallbladder removed with the sleeve. I lost 5lb. Sw 239 Cw 234 Back to old me soon

Hi biginjapan I am good thanks. Life is ok. I miss food but losing weight makes it up for me I just realised it will take until I eat food which means food not liquid. Can't wait for next week I will have more varieties. Hhhhhhh Back to old me soon

Hi msw I am from the uk but currently living in Qatar. My dr seems like not bothered with Protein neither pre op diet. I am 4 days out now and struggling with meat and chicken broth. I can barley finish a cup whole day. I will see my dr next Monday and wondering how I will survive this stage. I need yoghurt or creamy Soups to make me go I was energetic yesterday not today though. Good luck jenn1818 on Tuesday. There wasn't pain that would make me bed bound. When I woke up after GA i had heavy chest and just wanted to sleep. I had morphine that I controlled myself and that was magic cuz I had no pain the whole time and little discomfort was sorted with morphine click. They kept making sure I comfortable. So pain not much. Now at home it only feels like indigestion and itching around Steches. I managed to do my food shopping today and met my friends after school drop off. Hi everyone I was sleeved on 5th Jan. How is everyone feeling. I don't feel the gas as I expected however it's like like very heavy abs exercise and my muscles locked in one place !! In regards to food it's hitting me with head hungers. I didn't any of it have when I was pre op liquid diet. I miss food but can't wait to look and feel slim Back to old me soon

Jenn1818 Hi and good luck. I got my self comfy bjays as I stayed for 2 nights and I left home with same dress I came in to hospital. I wished I had jacket or hoody as I was feeling cold most of times. I also got make basic make up. It did Abeer me up to look good hope this helps. Back to old me soon

I am all done yesterday I am so happy and no regrets. I had 3 in 1 surgery sleeve , hiatal hernia repair, and gallbladder removal. I got in theatre at 9.30 fell a sleep at 10. I woke up 12.45 pm. There is no pain at tummy only back and shoulder due to gases. Funny though I was so hungry hhhhhhhh and wasn't allowed for Water until later today. I had pain killer that I control and it was amazing. Good luck everyone. Hope my experience is any help for you Back to old me soon

Hi biginjapan You are so true. I came to Qatar from the uk. There was a lot of options there for food And ready made thing range and taste nice. I find it hard to find things. Surgeons here don't recommend to diet in advance and allow carbs post surgery. I will be sleeved on Thursday. Can't wait. Back to old me soon

I am 5th of Jan. liquid diet tomorrow as my surgeon did not want me to lose before however I followed low carb high Protein for three weeks only lost 2lb still think positive for what will come next 2 days to go Back to old me soon
