Don't ever allow the people who did you wrong to make you think you don't deserve better in your life... When you know you deserve better, DO Better! Stop waiting for people to change. You can't "fix" him/her - he's not a project. You can't change people but you can change YOUR mind, your situation, change starts with YOU!

YOU DESERVE to be Happy!! ..... I posted this on my Facebook page earlier today. I have a new outlook and I thank you for the encouraging words. much love sister.

  3. First of all, you look great! Secondly, you look like you feel amazing.

Thirdly, what a giant ******! Pardon my French.

Who cares about if your body is going to be a mess, that weight that holds you down is gone and your life is going to be great without that boxer weight that's trying to hold you back!

    Congrats and Good Luck!

Thank you. I do feel amazing I was more than happy to drop his weight too. I' not sure what my body will look like because I do exercise too but what ever it is has to be better than the excess weight and I will embrace it. We were sleeved around the same time congrats on your weight loss as well and Good luck on your journey

  4. Hello everyone, Warning beware of jealous people in your life. So my now ex but also my daughters father has as I feel always tried to sabotage me. I gained close to 100 pounds in the last 6 years since I've been with him had a baby got super comfortable and let myself go. Well since my surgery and before he was never with my lifestyle change he would bring fast food and candy into the house, he didn't work out with me on a regular basis (and mind u he is athletic and a boxer) there was no genuine encouragement nor support. He was and is a serial cheater. He told a girl he cheated on me with about me getting the surgery before i even had it and just recently told another woman i believed to be a friend but he was sleeping with her too that I had the surgery and now I think i'm better than ppl and they laughed about how I'm still big and my body gone be a mess (I seen the messages) the disrespect is at an all time high. Bottom line is I am better than what they obviously thought of me. This change has been the best thing that has ever happened to me, I'm happy about life again, I see the changes in me mentally, spiritually, and physically. I'm looking forward to the future and learning not to settle or accept anything I'm discovering my worth and now I'm glad I can close that chapter in my life and looking forward to my journey and finding someone new that sees the Goddess in me

down 83 lbs and not stopping

  5. I am really battling head hunger and have known that I have a food addiction for a long time. I really have to work on slowing down as I don't want to mess up my sleeve and I'm only 3 weeks out

It gets easier with time. I think in the beginning its just a compulsion and all we think about because what we just went thru but its really passing now. Honestly I barely think about it now nd only eat to fuel my body its like a chore now

  6. Good morning everyone I have been at a stall for weeks but the scale is moving again. I'm officially 82 lbs down 18 lbs til I reach 100 loss and 30 lbs til I'm finally out my 300's. It's a beautiful thing to see the numbers going backwards I can't remember the last time I was 2 anything and so glad this is finally happening. Although the weight is in my book a significant loss I still struggle to really see it but there are changes I notice such as fitting in those plastic lawn chairs I couldn't fit in before, more energy, standing and walking longer. I'm a little over 3 months out and I'm ecstatic to see where my journey is going. What changes have you all noticed since dropping weight?/

  7. I am walking 3.5 miles on my treadmill every other day (about). What are or did you do at 3 months post op?

I think that's great! I'm almost 4 months or and am on week two of couch to 5k. I also have a personal trainer come 3x a week, 30 min twice and an hour on Saturday. I usually walk in addition to the c25k 5 times a week. My surgeon said as long as we're feeling good, we can do what we want.
I think I am just so lost on everything. I know there is no way I can afford the whole personal trainer thing

If u have a planet fitness in your area they have personal trainers including in your membership.. I pay $20 a month so I can bring a friend every time

  8. I notice that must sleeves are in the high 200's but is there anyone who started higher. My weight day off was 362 give or take a pound....my doctor told me the most common procedure for my weight was the bypass but the long term results are very much the same. Im 5'7" but I definitely strated off way bigger than some posts I see...just curious to know I'd I'm alone lol

    Dstined4gr8tnes

No your not alone I started at 412lbs on surgery day I was 386 lbs and today a little over 3 months I'm now 334 lbs

  9. I started at 412lbs on surgery date 10/12/16 I was 386lbs I've lost a total of 78 lbs and it's still hard for me to notice other ppl see it in my face, and chest area but idk I still have quite a ways to go. I notice things like being able to wrap a towel around me that didn't fit before, fitting in those lil plastic chairs i couldnt fit in before and standing and walking longer distances

  10. Sarah, How far out are you? I've done it too and felt super bad afterwards; it's what made me realize I really had a problem if I could do that after having this surgery something I wanted for so long. I cried and wrote down what I was feeling. It will get better don't be discouraged and stop trying you just have to figure out what works for you, I set alarms to remind me to eat and drink every couple of hours so I don't get hungry and make bad choices. I also find other activities to do to keep my busy so I'm not constantly thinking bout food, I'd also recommend a therapist or just having someone to talk to in general about what your going thru it helps to say it out loud or like I said write it down and re-read it to yourself will make up re-think the next time you feel the urge to do so. I literally had to start getting into the habit of throwing food away that was unhealthy or leftovers my kids didnt eat just so I wouldn't eat it. I hope some of this helps you. Good luck
