Hello everyone, Warning beware of jealous people in your life. So my now ex but also my daughters father has as I feel always tried to sabotage me. I gained close to 100 pounds in the last 6 years since I've been with him had a baby got super comfortable and let myself go. Well since my surgery and before he was never with my lifestyle change he would bring fast food and candy into the house, he didn't work out with me on a regular basis (and mind u he is athletic and a boxer) there was no genuine encouragement nor support. He was and is a serial cheater. He told a girl he cheated on me with about me getting the surgery before i even had it and just recently told another woman i believed to be a friend but he was sleeping with her too that I had the surgery and now I think i'm better than ppl and they laughed about how I'm still big and my body gone be a mess (I seen the messages) the disrespect is at an all time high. Bottom line is I am better than what they obviously thought of me. This change has been the best thing that has ever happened to me, I'm happy about life again, I see the changes in me mentally, spiritually, and physically. I'm looking forward to the future and learning not to settle or accept anything I'm discovering my worth and now I'm glad I can close that chapter in my life and looking forward to my journey and finding someone new that sees the Goddess in me down 83 lbs and not stopping

MY EX TRIED TO TEAR ME DOWN
Renea Glover replied to Renea Glover's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Thank you everyone for the encouraging and uplifting words! I love you all -
Good morning everyone I have been at a stall for weeks but the scale is moving again. I'm officially 82 lbs down 18 lbs til I reach 100 loss and 30 lbs til I'm finally out my 300's. It's a beautiful thing to see the numbers going backwards I can't remember the last time I was 2 anything and so glad this is finally happening. Although the weight is in my book a significant loss I still struggle to really see it but there are changes I notice such as fitting in those plastic lawn chairs I couldn't fit in before, more energy, standing and walking longer. I'm a little over 3 months out and I'm ecstatic to see where my journey is going. What changes have you all noticed since dropping weight?/

Don't ever allow the people who did you wrong to make you think you don't deserve better in your life... When you know you deserve better, DO Better! Stop waiting for people to change. You can't "fix" him/her - he's not a project. You can't change people but you can change YOUR mind, your situation, change starts with YOU! YOU DESERVE to be Happy!! ..... I posted this on my facebook page earlier today. I have a new outlook and I thank you for the encouraging words. much love sister. -

Its definitely a mental thing for me I was sleeved on 10/12/16 and I was so hurt when I came home I thought the surgery would take away my desire for food completely however it actually made me realize I had a real problem with food. I never noticed how much I consumed since I struggled with weight my whole life. My parents always made us finish our plates before we got up. And I do the same to my children what they didnt eat I would cuz I couldn't stand the thought if wasting food or throwing it away... After surgery I was chewing up food and spitting it out. Food was everywhere, TV commercials, fliers, fast food restaurants on every corner or billboard I just couldn't focus... Long story short preparation works keep a lunch box with the right things such as yogurt, string cheese, boiled eggs, turkey, Peanut Butter, Jerky, slim jims, ect whatever is healthy that u can tolerate set alarms on your phone to eat nd drink every couple of hours so u dont get hungry nd find something else to focus on reading or exercise work for Me. When I'm going to the gym regularly I dont won't to mess up all my hard work by eating poorly. It does get better but we all have to do our Part our surgery's are not cure alls but helping tools. Food addiction How do you deal
Renea Glover replied to Renea Glover's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It gets easier with time. I think in the beginning its just a compulsion and all we think about because what we just went thru but its really passing now. Honestly I barely think about it now nd only eat to fuel my body its like a chore now Sent from my N9518 using the BariatricPal App -

3 month exercises
Renea Glover replied to dominyks_mom's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I think that's great! I'm almost 4 months or and am on week two of couch to 5k. I also have a personal trainer come 3x a week, 30 min twice and an hour on Saturday. I usually walk in addition to the c25k 5 times a week. My surgeon said as long as we're feeling good, we can do what we want.I think I am just so lost on everything. I know there is no way I can afford the whole personal trainer thing Sent from my SM-G935P using the BariatricPal App If u have a planet fitness in your area they have personal trainers including in your membership.. I pay $20 a month so I can bring a friend every time Sent from my N9518 using the BariatricPal App -
Sleevers over 300lbs?
Renea Glover replied to dstined4gr8tnes's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
No your not alone I started at 412lbs on surgery day I was 386 lbs and today a little over 3 months I'm now 334 lbs -
I started at 412lbs on surgery date 10/12/16 I was 386lbs I've lost a total of 78 lbs and it's still hard for me to notice other ppl see it in my face, and chest area but idk I still have quite a ways to go. I notice things like being able to wrap a towel around me that didn't fit before, fitting in those lil plastic chairs i couldnt fit in before and standing and walking longer distances
