  1. Is your digestive tract doing what it's suppose to do, or is it being slow? Your losing fat, but gaining muscle. Your body's going to do what it's going to do. Don't flip out, because it will just make you stress. Know you are doing the right things and wait it out. Your body just has to recalibrate. Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App

  4. I've been taking Biotin for a couple of years because I lost hair during a rapid weight loss program at that time. I haven't noticed losing any more hair after surgery, or during any weight loss this go around. Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App

    Regrets and hormonal

It was about seven days when I hit my first brick wall. Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App
  6. Have you had a pap smear since surgery? You may want to have your hormone levels checked. I know they go whacky after WLS. Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App
  7. If you can only hold 4 ounces, your sleeve has not stretched. My doc said the sleeve can't stretch (or not to a vast degree) because the stretchy part of the stomach was cut away. Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App
  8. I'm a month out and in the same predicament. Mine wasn't a revision, so I'm really discouraged. At two weeks the scale hadn't moved at all. The last two and a half weeks I've been going to the gym three times a week and I'm on soft Proteins. That's when the ten pounds have come off. Then again, I'm having issues with my gallbladder now, so... Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App
  9. It seems as though my gallbladder doesn't want to be friendly any longer. My one month post-op bloodwork showed my bilirubin high. I have some pain, but nausea and gas are the main complaints. I'm being scheduled for an ultrasound, but it sounds like I'll be going under the knife again soon. Has anyone else had this happen so soon after being sleeved? At my two weeks out I was craving a pickle, too. I don't even like pickles! Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App

    Getting Discouraged

Cut the carbs. The only way you will lose weight is if your body uses your stored fat as energy. You are feeding it carbs, so it doesn't have to burn fat. Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App
  13. You're supposed to be getting at least twice that amount of protein! No wonder you're hungry! Emotional huricanes are common within the first month. Your body parts changed and the hormones are trying to find their new correct levels. Don't be surprised by break through bleeding, too. Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App
  14. I've only lost 10 pound in the month following surgery, but everyone has noticed "weight loss". Talk about a scale not moving, and becoming discouraged! I have a fear I've manged my body permanently over a whopping 10 pounds, when I lost 35 on my own in 2.5 months before surgery. Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App
  15. I usually go once a week since surgery. The problem I have is they are usually marbles or nuggets. Not comfortable. Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App
