  1. I am planning on having one margarita tonight. I was never a big drinker. Very rare so of course no alcohol since 12-27 surgery. Thoughrd? Is it really easy to get drunk? I do NOat want to be drunk. Just a small social drink. Any one have experience to share? If it's a bad idea I might just call it off. Thanks! Sent from my VS995 using the BariatricPal App

    Crying on the bathroom floor

This seems to be touchy subject but I understand the frustration. I'm there. As in..."the stall" and it frustrates me. Logically I know the facts but some days I'm ok and other days I'm like, "c.mon..lWTF?!" I see others with same or later surgery date losing A lot more and I question everything I'm doing. But...I put on jeans Saturday that used to be hard to pull up. They had give in the waist. I spent the entire weekend sightseeing for a little mini vacation and I walked more that I could have a month ago. I feel better. I do. The scale haunts (taunts) because of the past struggles but I'm staying the course. Like the other poster said...NSV (non scale victories... a term I hadn't hear before) but true. They ARE there. The scale will catch up later. But it's a mental game. I get it. If I cam do nothing else...just know I understand. Love to all! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

    Could I be stalling already?

I feel same way! Trying not to be obsessed or bothered but it's hard. I went up .02 2 days ago and then EXACT same today. Just under 3 week mark. Ugh. I feel your pain. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  4. I'm in my pureed stage and I am glad you asked! Not stupid at all! Sent from my VS995 using the BariatricPal App
  5. Did you have these gas pains everyone is complaining about? Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App I have had gas problems in the past with laparoscopic surgeries but for some reason I lucked out and have not had any this time after the first 24 hours. They are the worse so I know I'm lucky. Sent from my VS995 using the BariatricPal App

For those of you who did not have "food funerals":

That is awesome! I love it! Sent from my VS995 using the BariatricPal App
  7. Good luck! I had mine 12-27 and couldn't sleep night before. SO many thoughts going through my mind. Morning of...still so nervous. Rather emotional. I thought I would be skating in that hospital door like. "YEAH! FINALLY! Woo hoo!" But felt all the nerves and emotions. But it was good. And speaking as someone that had the band once upon a time (then had to have it removed due to erosion) this surgery experience was and the recovery (so far) has not been bad at all. I mean there have been some uncomfortable moments but nothing that I couldn't handle. All and all this is my (long and rambling) way of saying mixed emotions are completely normal and you will do so great! Sent from my VS995 using the BariatricPal App

    Green stool

Yes! I started having it day after surgery. Still a little left 3 days out but more normal in color now. I asked about the green and nurse in hospital said it's from the gas they use in surgery and that it was totally normal. Hope this helps! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
