I am 10 weeks post sleeve. For the first month I was very depressed, anything and everything bothered me. Sleeping was an issue, being awake was an issue, when I did sleep I had terrible nightmares and woke up feeling worse than ever. When I was awake I just wanted to sleep. I felt constantly guilty because I have a fabulous support network around me but it just didn't help. As of today, I do feel better, sleeping is easier and the nightmares are fewer but my overall feeling of depression/anxiety remains. I do hope that the more I heal the more better I feel. After all this operation was and continues to be life changing. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

For the last few days I've felt more and more 'odd' I want to sleep all the time as I'm exhausted after just one visit to the shop. I have no appetite for anything but forcing myself to eat Soup s and yogurt. I am ok with Fluid but only ice cold tap Water which I'm having sips of through the day. My weight has remained the same for two days now. I had a sweat for no real reason this morning whilst out shopping and felt really nauseous so came home and went to bed. Anyone else feeling the same or am I doing something wrong ? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Used a 40g Protein cottage cheese tub, 6 eggs, 12 small chunks of protein smoked cheese. Mixed them all up in a bowl, seperated mix into a 12 portion oven tray baked until golden.. each little 'muffin' equates to 10.5g protein..great Breakfast, one is enough for me at the moment..yum Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

The weetabix is basically liquid and the 2 crackers are put into my Soup, both were suggestions from my post op dietician appt. Think like you said definitely go back to more Protein shakes as main meals, any more food you can suggest I could have would be really appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Hi I was sleeved on 12/19/2016 out on 12/21/2016..been very fortunate as been off all pain relief since 12/22 and had my staples removed with no problems..healing really well and looking forward to gentle swimming from next week. Not really had any hunger at all although I am starting to get tired quicker but that's a very small price to pay for getting my life back..good luck to everyone Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Gastric Sleeve surgery - the reality
dmb16 replied to Evie82's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I had my sleeve 19th Dec 2016 in UK. I have not vommited but once after drinking too fast I did feel the liquid into throat. I stood still took a couple of deep breaths and allowed the liquid to settle. Result it worked..won't be doing that again anytime soon. I'm only just going into my third week BUT it really is the best thing I have ever done. Yes it's hard work but stick to your dietician advice and you won't go wrong. Make 2017 your year good luck Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
