Hang in there, the stalls are common. Continue good eating habits and excerise and the stall will break. I know it's frustrating right now. I have the same issue, I was on a stall for two weeks, all of the sudden I lost 6 pounds. Stay positive Newimage2017 ❤️️

You are an inspiration. I'm post op sleeve 1 week. Thank you for posting this. Sometimes I feel alone on this journey because people are quick to criticize your decision. I often keep my success and pitfalls to a small circle of people. It's so true... it's like losing a best friend. Sometimes I feel moody because I can't eat what I use to. This is truly not easy, forums like these helps to cope with the drastic change and to see inspirations like you and find comfort in knowing that weight loss is a journey and success comes in many shapes. Thank you again for the inspiration. You look great. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

The surgery fixes the BODY but, not the MIND
newimage2017 replied to 10stackzz's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Great advice. I totally agree, I still see a clinician as I use food to cope with stress. This ongoing support has really help me recognize when I'm emotionally eating. I truly see counseling as a vital part of my journey and success to weight loss. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
Newbie with PCOS looking for a Mentor/Buddy
newimage2017 replied to up4challenge's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hi. I have PCOS as well. I don't have a child yet, I had a sleeve done 12/22/16 as part of my journey to have a child. This has been life changing. My PCOS has caused sporadic periods, weight gain and a host of metabolism issues. My doctor suggested this surgery as he thought it was detrimental to my health to have a child with my health conditions. I'm happy I had this surgery. My surgery weight was 304 I'm now 294. I'm still very nervous about the weight loss. I see so many success stories just wondering when I will see the weight shift. I'm on soft foods, much of it I prepare myself. I haven't been able to drink 64 ounces of Water, but able to get Protein in through my shake. Still learning a lot, but looking forward to the journey. Feel free to drop me a line at any time here buddie! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

Why am I so hungry?
newimage2017 replied to carolynh's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had my sleeve done 12/22 and I'm struggling to the point of feeling down. My protocol now has me on soft foods. I'm still struggling with Water and having crazy sugar attacks. I have PCOS and not sure if this is what's contributing to my craves or it's " all in my head". I started tracking my intake. I'm getting an 11oz- 30g Protein shake down daily, but still hungry. Hi. I had my surgery the same day you did. I'm still struggling, I would suggest not doing any hi impact excerise for a few weeks. Your calorie intake is lower and so are your nutrients. Focus should be on healing and resting. Try your very best to get your Protein & Water in. I finally got to the point I can tolerate an 11oz bottle of premier Protein Drink down, takes me some hours. Still fighting with water Following the prescribe diet is important. If you can walk with out feeling faint, that's about as much as I would suggest just until you start taking adequate protein and fluids for energy. I finally pooped after one week. Anesthesia tends to slow things down, don't be alarmed. If you can tolerate a stool softer take one to help soften things up in the meantime . You got to get that water in the body. Are you drinking at least one ounce of water every 15 mins? I know it's a pain ( literally), but you need to make sure you don't get dehydrated. Hydration of the body will help with having a bowl movement. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

This does not seem like normal loss!
newimage2017 replied to Monesty's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hang in there. Everyone's weight lost rate is different. Are you writing everything down in a journal? Are you walking? Don't feel defeated. Maybe some modifications in what you are doing is needed to jump start the metabolism. I have heard this from one of my friends, she had the same issue. She kept at it. Changed up her exercise routine and increased her water intake. -
