you are right, it is NOT the easy way out. I think all the PRE stuff is to make sure our mental approach has changed and is ready for new beginnings. I am curious what was on your supply list? It's funny because I am hear researching types of Protein for vegetarian Snacks etc. Supply list I hear is a must Jello Medical protein Vitamins Gas x strips Jello cups I need to find a drink I like. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App k out Trimino protein Water, loaded with protein and no carbs or sugar. Tastes pretty good too! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App -

is the 10,000 steps a day your goal or the Dr's. Wishing you all the best.Mine, the doc wanted me to get at least 7,500 but wants to see it increase. Also want excessive 3 days par week 30 minutes.. How bout you? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App Today was day 1 pre-op for me and it was ok. I was surprised that it can be difficult to meet the protein quota and I was also very surprised by the calories in everything, I mean EVERYTHING! I started tracking today too. I got my 10000 steps today but that was because I swam for 29 minutes. Overall feeling ok if I don't think about food Do you use my fitness pal app? I use it to monitor excercize, food and nutrition. If you use it, you can friend me @ sleevinpops. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App -

Nb, you need to ignore the "noise" and do what you feel is best for you. I know I had a few "friends" and even family that said the same, trying to discourage me. I respond back noting that I have struggled with my weight for over 20 years. Have tried all sorts of diets only to gain it all back and even more. Not to mention high blood pressure, cholesterol, Apnia and (what finally put me over the edge) borderline diabetes. Maybe they would prefer to have me continue to have declining health (better check my insurance policy...LOL) I have tried so many times to loose and keep it off, but have not been successful. Surgery is another too that has a high success rate for weight loss, but I also realize I need to change my relationship with food. If you see so many other posts about those that have already done it, it is true that many have discomfort initially, maybe even for a couple months...but over time most still say they wish they did it sooner. Good luck with with YOUR decision, I know it is a difficult decision, but it is YOURS to make. We are here to support. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App -

Ms.heather, It sounds like you have not had any consult with your doctor yet. There is often a 3-6 month period required by the insurance. You may want to check into this. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App -
