Angie, the pain is from gas and it will be a little longer before it is gone. Walking will help to expell it as well. I am 5 months post surgery and still finding things I used to love to eat, I can no longer tolerate. It's a work in progress, but be patient, it gets easier each day! slimmerpoos replied to RHmama's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It gets better each day. Although there will still be challenges ahead, keep strong and be confident. You got this! Sent from my XT1650 using BariatricPal mobile app -
Great job! I went through the same thing and didn't feel like I saw any changes in the first few months, but others kept saying I looked better. It wasn't until last month, month 3 for me, that I saw it only after having my picture taken in a group photo (not selfie) that I was amazed with the difference. You may not see it yet, but you will soon. Keep up the great work! Sent from my XT1650 using BariatricPal mobile app

I'm starting experience something very similar. Going to call the doc today, I'm sure it's normal, but it definitely not comfortable. -
I started soft foods yesterday, having a tough time. I might be eating too fast but had a 2oz. piece of broiled salmon and took 15 minutes before I couldn't have any more. Now feel like it's still stuck in there. How bout you? Are you feeling similar?

Ty you need to talk to your doctor and nutritionist. They know your specific needs.

When is your surgery lacy? Sent from my XT1254 using the BariatricPal App -
Meal planning is great, but it is important not to skip your meals or small snack. If you do, you may rend to binge. I had this problem and decided to set alarms on my Fitbit to go off 15 minutes before my "planned" time for meal or snack. This has worked pretty well as it lets me know it's almost time and make sure not to skip. Even if I am busy with work, I can still work in time to eat. After about a month, I found it become a habit. Sent from my XT1254 using the BariatricPal App
