The Level of Care far Surpasses anything I have ever received in the States. The Oasis of Hope Hospital is Extremely Clean and very Spacious. The Pricing with BariatricPal and Dr. Illan was very Reasonable even by Mexican Standards. Bill and Stacey and the whole Crew made this more like a Vacation than a Surgery. In fact I liked it so much I will be going as a friends Companion on September 21st. The only thing you have to Lose is Weight.

Days in Mexico pre and post surgery?
2-Liter replied to BDutchess's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I was told the 2pm start was because he does his rounds till 2 but maybe that is just a Generalization and it varies. The part I Love is that he limits the amount of surgeries he performs per day and his ability to put you at ease when he comes in Pre-Op. When he walked out of the room prior to Surgery I felt at ease knowing that he and his Staff were going to take the Very Best Care of me. I didn't realize all that I had given up by allowing this weight to strangle the Life out of me. -

I believe anything after 12 would be Safe we met in the Lobby at 9am and headed to the airport. -
I have always been Social but the weight loss has gotten me back out in the World and the Confidence has really came back. The Great thing about all of this is that todays woman is so much more open to FWB and it allows you to have multiple Partners. I am so thankful for this tool that has helped me get my Life Back!!!

Once she lands and sees the level of Care you receive it will be a totally different story. I have never been treated so well at a Medical Facility in my Life!!! She is the Lucky one because the Companion also gets treated like Royalty by all of the Valets and Staff. Bill, Stacy and Dr. Illan have put together the most amazing Family (because the word Staff doesn't do them Justice) to Help you through this Life Changing Adventure. -

Dr. Illan starts his Surgeries after 2.p.m. and usually Ladies first (He is such a Gentleman). I Promise this will be the Best Decision you have ever made. I was so impressed that if time allows I will never have Surgery in the States again. -
I can solve that Problem with a Shewee it actually looks like Fun for Y'all lol. I guess they do complicate matters for a woman but to me they are Awesome, I keep my wallet and phone in my Chest Pocket so they are Super Convenient.

@EmEdge Just Do It they are so Comfortable and you can accessorize them easily to give them a little Bling. I have every Color they make and always get Compliments on them. My Favorite pair is probably my Railroad Style with the Blue & White Stripes. I have been lifting again so hopefully one day in 18 months or so I can make them look Fly at the Beach with the No Shirt look.

I LOOOOOVEEEE Overalls because you can wear them through about 6 Pant sizes because of the side buttons plus they keep you from displaying your Plumbers Crack. I buy Round House Brand they are American Made and Fit Well. I buy 2 New Pair every 2 Months. Heck I wear them everywhere even to the Club. This post has me thinking though and I believe I will clean out my Closet this weekend.

Look into Lexapro it is prescription but it has Helped me Tremendously it takes about 3 weeks to get into your system but when it does life is Amazing. They have a prescription called Ativan that is fast acting and good for getting you through attacks but it doesn't last near as long as the Lexapro. -
Thank You I am hoping to get about another 120lbs off in the next 18 months and then a trip to the Dominican Republic for Plastics by Dr. Goico. I am really spending the time researching and following up on his patients.

Questions for patients of Dr Illan

I would park at the Airport and get a ride over the Border with a BariatricPal driver for several reasons mostly because it allows your Companion to have a worry free trip and focus on helping you. Also on the trip back the time saved on going through the medical lane alone would be worth it. I would also like to add you will Extremely Surprised at how well you will be treated. It is like a Vacation with a Surgery thrown in. -

Can't figure out how to lose again
2-Liter replied to cstem's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I have been following a Keto Style Meal Plan and my Body seems to work well with it. I am able to have weight loss at a moderate pace and I feel good most of the time. I limit my meals to three 4oz meals and one Snack a day. Take a look on Facebook or Google and see if this might be a option for you. Grazing all day has always been a problem for me and I was in such denial that I wouldn't have believed it if you told me, so that is something I have to fight daily. -
