    WHAT DID YOU EAT TODAY?

Do you snack at all between meals, usually? I can't wait 4 hour between meals, I get dizzy. How do you do it, any smoothies, or otherwise between? Thanks! I don't snack in the morning at all. I don't feel hungry and have to make myself eat Breakfast. BUT When the 4 hours ( sometimes 3.5 or 5hrs) is up I know my a hollow feeling I get in my throat. Don't get me wrong I feel I could eat cause I want to. I haven't lost that yet or ever lol.. In the arvo it's harder. I eat my "snack" or small meal at around 2 pm and by 4 I'm feel I'm ready to go again. Not because I'm" hungry" but cause I just wanna eat!... I do have the occasional bit in between like cheese etc or a Protein drink but not a lot.. When I roll through the door at home I'm stil straight to the fridge .. but I don't eat it's a habit. I'll make a cuppa tea. It seems to tie me over till grub time again. A Protein Drink made with Water would be ok. Maybe I'm too strict lol I have a minimiser ring in as well so I'm not sure if that helps me. I get dizzy but cause I need my meds adjusted. It's all a learning game and a massive head game. How fast can you return to work ?

I'm a truck driver in Australia and it's a very physical job some of the time.. it's not all about being a steering wheel attendant. I took two weeks off and was in no pain what so ever. I just couldn't jump on and off the truck or lift over 10-15kgs ( I think) for 6 weeks although some times I had too... I found the first week back I had some fatigue but not to bad. From about 3-4 weeks post I forgot I had, had surgery.. unless I ate lol... I could of gone back earlier but it was good to take a bit extra time off ..I had no pain or discomfort from day 1 after surgery. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I eat chicken and beef mince and tuna Cauliflower, carrot and zucchini mostly Protein powder is sometimes added as well to different dishes .. avocado is a huge part of what i eat as well Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  13. I'm 6 weeks out and haven't vomited yet. I have over eaten ( I think) or eaten too quick twice and I have felt nauseous but that's about it. I have had the feeling of food being stuck ( from eating to quick again) Over eating or eating to quick was literally a bite too much Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. I second this. I eat what my family eats. I just watch my portion sizes. That having been said, I serve my family food I can eat. No Pasta and potatoes on our table. We have scrambled eggs and ham for breakfast, I eat a P3 for lunch, and dinner might be salmon with mashed cauliflower and a green salad. What Is Your Policy on Carbs?

If you insist on being in ketosis because you think it's the right way for you to go you not only have to watch the carb intake, you also have to eat rather high in fat. The body is not stupid. When there are not enough carbs available, the body is able to make glucose out of amino acids (gluconeogenesis). So simply replacing carbs with Protein won't work that good. Protein is also more insulinogenic than many people think. There is nothing wrong with eating high fat!.... we are drummed into believing that high fat is wrong for some reason. People need to educate themselves on this. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
