Hi My bariatric Life Please believe the sleeve has its issues also, even unto death! I'm going to make this extremely short. Just a brief response to the last part of your statement. Money Talks Extremely Loud!
-
Unfortunately, I already did it and I'm angry about it and feel so stupid! God has been good to me through it all. He has revealed things to me concerning my health before I had to suffer long term complications. My concerns is that I continue to have a ear to hear Him for the rest of my life. My life depends on it!

This is major surgery!!!! And the bad thing about it is...... you never know when or if your body will respond negatively to what was done. Or if statistic will acknowledge it as being another problem with bariatric surgery and add the problem to their small percentage. Just another billion dollar discovery. Just wait.... lawyers will be advertising about those that lost love ones or experienced serious complications after having bariatric surgery.... you may have a claim, blah blah blah the same vicious cycle.
-
And the statistics are based on what? How many get sick right after surgery before leaving the hospital and or dies? Or how many end up back in the hospital dehydrated or Vitamin deficient? Exactly how much does statistic cover? From where I sit a lot of people suffers serious complications after surgery than statistics acknowledges.

Foul smelling burps and vomit (feces)
savyourdvine1 replied to Hector N Yolanda Asta's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hector I'm praying this too shall pass. I had obstructions for years. And everything you're talking about happen to me. However, it wasn't related to my weightloss surgery. My advise would be to get a second opinion if it reoccurs.[emoji120] -

That's a long time after eating before having a dump. However, they are all dump symptoms. Not sure if you can take it... Mylicon is very good for settling your stomach. Check with your team or Doctor. -
Never experienced coughing with reflux. There may be something else going on. Talk to your Doctor or team.

Cracker Barrel
savyourdvine1 replied to KathyLynn160's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I hear what you're saying Middus. But let me say this.... Those that ask questions to fail, will! And those that think the question is foolish probable shouldn't respond. Nothing we can say or do to stop people from sabotaging. So why take a negative approach to a question? We all need to take a positive approach towards each question as though people really need to know for lack of knowledge, regardless of why the question is being asked. -

If you take iron pills make sure it's the kind that don't constipate you. Also, I use glycerin suppositories. Ask your Doctor if they're okay for you to use. They work well -
Cracker Barrel
savyourdvine1 replied to KathyLynn160's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
When I first read the Initial question I felt everyone commenting concerning what they ate made a conscience decision to eat what they did. That being said.... no one ever lost control. And that's really what this is all about. Staying in control. For example, some people being very strict..... is the way it must be done to avoid "slippery slopes" then you do you, and save yourself. Yet for others being very strict causes a "slippery slope"so you have to do you. Let us all focus on questions asked and respect each others difference thus avoiding offences. -

Physiological question i feel scared
savyourdvine1 replied to jazzy0917's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
One more thought..... how about most/all sleevers go through some type of emotional imbalances, due to the surgery itself. Some very severe. Others not so much. Also, if you become deficient in your vitamins. You will also be thrown off. Just food for thought. Sometimes we need to look in ourselves before we look out at others. I'm just saying....... -
Does God hate me?
savyourdvine1 replied to snapy17's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Remember or please note. God made your body to heal itself. It goes into survival mode the instant things start changing. From food intake to surgery. So no God don't hate you on the contrary He loves you more than you could ever know.... and He's right there with you. So keep your smile and know that your body is some what like a navigation system. It will recalculate as soon as it realize it's not in trouble, and the weight will drop off.[emoji1] -
My regrets..... Not knowing how things would turn out. To many things can go wrong day of surgery, wks, months, and even years after the surgery. I feel like I jumped on the latest weightloss fad to fill somebody's pocket. When I decided to do the sleeve, my focus was on how to stay healthy after surgery. Of course that search led me to one success story after another. However, as I started struggling with getting my liquids in (after surgery my stomach took over) protein, vitamins and water. I started looking for help on the web because I didn't want to dehydrate, become vitamin deficient or get a leak. My team advice was "you must do what my stomach was rejecting in order to heal properly. So my search on the web suddenly changed. I needed answers to stay alive! And for the first time I find one horror story after another. Too late not reversible! Now my faith in God has moved to a whole different level. I know He won't fail me..... Been through too many storms in life and He was always there to bring me through. However, if I had of known what I know today I would have directed my faith in another area for weight loss, for truly this is a trying of my faith that worketh patients, for the rest of my life!
