LOL, the first two were VERY unlucky finds...except for the 3 wonderful kids i got from them (the first gave me a son who is now an EMT, HE MARRIED HIS CHILDHOOD sweetheart whom he had been with since they were 10. They gave me 4 grandbabies: a girl 11, a girl 9, a girl 5, and a boy 2. We also had a daughter who married a wonderful man she met at Purdue while he and i were students there. They have given me 3 grandbabies: a girl 7, a girl 4, and a boy 2...so even though husband #1 turned out to be a monster i have to be glad i met and married him, if i hadn't i wouldnt have my 2 birth children or my 7 grandchildren. Husband #2 turned out to not be much better but one good thing came from our marriage, we adopted a baby boy together. My adopted son is now 20. Husband #3 is so wonderful. He is so patient and understanding and loving. He fathered my kids as if they were his own. He and my oldest son are best friends and he is the only father my adopted son has ever really known, my husband has been his dad since my son was only 3. We have been together 17 years, married 16. My husband is totally blind and hearing impaired and absolutely (almost) perfect...i am VERY lucky now...but had to go through 13 years of hell to get here. For me 3rd times a charm i guess [emoji5] -
talk to your surgeon about the possibility of being put on TPN (nutrition via a growshong port. That is what mine did for me and i am a lot better now, i can eat most of the time without getting sick and i can drink better too. Just a thought...

Some men can just be so oblivious...they dont mean to be, they just are. It doesnt mean they dont care, they just dont think.... I am so blessed to have a man who is attentive and who waits on me hand and foot since ive been so ill...he is amazing...it only took me 3 marriages to find my Mr. Right... I hope your man starts paying more attention to detail or that you find a man who does -
My husband uses an air fryer to "fry" stuff, it works AWESOME because no grease just crispy goodness Sent from my SM-J320V using the BariatricPal App

In a pinch Adkins has a frozen one with pepperoni and sausage and i think bacon that is pretty good, i can eat about 1/2 of itvat a time and i feel much less deprived Sent from my SM-J320V using the BariatricPal App -
Thanks for the advice. I called a personal injury lawyer and he insisted my problems were just "risks of the surgery" so he refused to take my case. Since my post ive spent an additional night in the hospital. I lost too much too fast and was passing out whenever i stood up...i feel like i will never be well again. I am so weak i cant even climb the 4 steps into my house. My husband has to push me up from behind while i try to step up...this is just crazy. I feel like i have even lessvof a life than i did before the surgery Sent from my SM-J320V using the BariatricPal App

upset and feeling disappointed
erikshappywife replied to KG1985's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Dont wish for rapid weight loss, just steady...ive lost 63lbs in 2 1/2 months which is too much too fast. Day before yesterday i passed out whenever i stood up. I ended up back in the hospital for the 6th stay since 11/29/16 surgery...many severe complications, this is just the latest one. So...slow and steady is much safer!! Yes, very much so. I got to the point that i vomited EVERY time i tried to eat or drink ANYTHING for the first 2 and a 1/2 months. So i just didnt eat anything. I have been hospitalized 6 times over the past 2 months, too. I spent about 45 days in the hospital during thoae 6 visits...in fact, i just got out of the hospital about 2 hours ago!! I had to be put on TPN at night (nutrition that goes in via a port into my jugular vein) and i have to wear a patch for my nausea behind my ear, i have to take 8mg of zofran to help with it too. I have to take a dose of magic mouth wash (yes, thats really what it is called-it has lidocaine and other stuff in it that numbs my eusopogist because i now have eusopogitis from all the vomiting. And i that reglan afyer every meal...all this kust so i can eat without vomiting after the 1st bite ( but i had other complications: the surgeon cut my spleen during my bypass, my spleen died and was falling apart in my left abdomen which caused abscesses to form there. I had to have a spleenectomy afyer almost 2 months of battling ingection. They had to put drains in 4 times to drain the ingected Fluid out of me. Then my plural cavity around my left lung filled up with 1800 units of fluid in it which caused my left lung to collapse so they put in a chest tube to drain it off...to put it very mildly i have a VERY rougj time since my November 29th gastric bypass surgery. I am sorry to hear thay you are having trouble with food too. I promise the taste of your food Will get better. Have a blessed day...... Michelle
