    Serious life question about hiccups.

Hiccups are a sign for me that I've eaten too much. If what I ate isn't going to stay in, they are usually followed by my mouth filling up with liquid (gross). It's such a fine line between full and omg I ate too much...sometimes I don't realize I've overeaten until it is too late. I would love suggestions on preventing myself from crossing that line if anyone has any.

    My new favorite yogurt

Me either AGreenEyedWolf...Greek yogurt has a gross texture. Any suggestions for regular yogurt eaters? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

    Barium Swallow test?

I had to have one post-op, the day after my surgery. It was the most miserable part of the whole gastric sleeve process. The stuff you have to drink is disgusting, and I had to lay on the table in very awkward and painful positions while they tested me for leaks. Ugh...I hope I never have to go through that again! A pre-op one would be much better...at least I hope it would. Good luck! Genn

    1 month post op!

So my journey started this past March and I was at my highest weight of 315. I was sleeved on 12/14/16, and I weighed 298 at that point. This morning I weighed 268.4! Down 29.4 pounds in a month! I am thrilled, but more importantly, I was able to do without a belt extender on my recent flight. I am wearing clothes from my closet that were too tight before, and I have a ton more energy. I am so glad that I made the decision to have the surgery. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

    I think I broke it

Before I was sleeved on 12-14, I went at least once a day. For the first 10 days after, it was nothing but liquid. Now, I'm lucky if I go once a week. I'm not constipated, but I definitely am not going very often. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Does everyone have to do endoscopy

I'm 47 and insured. My doctor required it...in fact he did the procedure. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

    Cruise 16 days out

I am sitting in the Ft Lauderdale airport waiting for our flight home, and thought I would update you. The cruise was wonderful. I ate within my soft foods stage without any trouble at all. Small portions because at 26 days out I'm still only eating about 1/2 cup total at a meal. I didn't even need to ever with the restaurant manager, as it was very easy to stay within my limits. I am excited to get home and get on the scale...I know I lost wait on the cruise because my jeans are too big, and they fit before the cruise. Also did a ton of walking and stairs onboard and at port. I'm feeling pretty good about how it's going . Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

    No more citrus ever?

I am in the solid food stage (3), and I'm restricted to cooked/canned fruit only. Yuck. We got a huge shipment of citrus fruit for Christmas from family in Florida and I am not letting it go to waste. I've been eating grapefruit segments about twice a week with no problems. Definitely talk to your doctor. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

    Egg white

Adriant, I've never heard that scrambled eggs are hard to digest...seems strange that poached eggs would be different...ingredients are the same right? My post-op diet has been in stages, with stage 1 being liquids in the hospital. Started stage 2 puréed food the day I left the hospital, my surgeon moved me to stage 3 soft foods at my 2 week post-op appointment. I was permitted egg substitute at the puréed food stage, and now can have them any way I want them. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
