  1. The first few weeks, I would have these sever cravings for specific items (bacon burger thing from BK, some KFC chicken, a club sandwich, and so on). Anyway, it really was what is called "head hunger" and it did pass. I still regret that I can't eat all the crap that I want, but overall I am very grateful that my surgery has helped me control my eating. After all, I really don't want or need to eat that gross burger or KFC food. I can have a few bites if I *really* want to and it will be okay. r

    Worried and confused

^^^^ this. I could eat things with no issue at 2 weeks, that I cannot at 8 weeks.
  3. I thought it was a myth that the sleeve can stretch - like maybe if you eat a big meal on a temporary basis like any tummy would, but not a permanent stretch?
  4. I'm not a doctor, but I think for some people carbonated beverages do not cause an issue and for others they do cause issues. I love coke zero, but have not had any since surgery - it really is just a cup of chemicals and terrible for my health (or so I tell myself). I do drink carbonated Poland Spring waters and have since about 1 month post-op. The carbonation doesn't bother me *most* of the time. I kind of let it sit and settle before drinking.

    Food Addiction

You have done really well!! The restriction caused by the surgery will help you even more. I wanted to eat a large DQ cone, which would be akin to eating a whole carton before my sleeve surgery. I did manage to eat most of it (not the cone part), anyway, I felt like crap afterwards and was quite ill. I won't be doing that again!!!

    Coffee?

I started drinking regular coffee 2 days after my surgery - I start each day with 2 cups of coffee and then once that has digested each my Breakfast. If I eat first I feel worse.

    6 month stall/plateau and scared!

Yes, maybe try eating a bit more - mixing up WHAT you eat. I think eating the same things every day may not be what your body wants or needs. Hit your Protein goals, but add in some more veggies/fruits. Also you may want to try some sort of HIIT type exercise. Something to get your heartbeat really going if only for a short while. It sounds like you are doing great and doing everything you should......mixing it up a bit may help jar you out of the stall.
