Omg thank you I’m sure you look gorg!![emoji4][emoji176] Okay I’m 5’7 measurements are 32-25-38. Yes I have about 20 more pounds I need to lose but it’s hard cause I snack on and off! Yes at the gym I just do treadmill and elliptical, I did yoga for months, I did Zumba a few times but I’m done with that I still be out of breath fast [emoji81] way too fast to deal with Zumba. I honestly just google different ways to exercise and at home exercises also. But again I realized I can go hard in the gym and do other things but I won’t lose my last pounds if I keep snacking so also look at other things that could be slowing down your last goal!! I’m still miss protein to the T. I make sure to have eggs, yogurt or salmon atleast 2 of the 3 a day. I’m always at restaurants because I don’t know how to cook so I always get salmon or grilled chicken. Now I can eat salad so lately I get grilled salmon or chicken Cesar salads. I watch little things like dressings, condiments on sandwiches, butter whenever I try to make eggs etc. Also drinks are a big deal. I started drinking alcohol again for the first time in over 15 months... gained 3 pounds after I went out twice and had brunch. I know it’s from those drinks (still till this day I can barely finish half of a reg plate of food). So I stopped that also. I only drink water, maybe I’ll have some iced tea in the week but water is literally the key. Like when I’m properly hydrated I don’t feel hungry or wanna grab some Doritos. So yes it’s Little things that’s truly helped me! Water, STILL & always thinking about protein and watching my snack intake. Everybody is different but I hope these tips helped !!

Thank you [emoji4][emoji176] Unfortunately I can eat whatever I want now, no restrictions, nothing makes me sick anymore so with that being said whenever I stall I would strictly only have water, yogurt, eggs and salmon for 2 weeks straight. Whenever I gain more than 2 pounds I make myself go hard in the gym and lose double the amount I gained. Those are little things I do because I love how I look and want to maintain it. I would say go hard and don’t be tempted for the first 12 months of surgery. Because after that 1 year your weight loss will stop completely and you WILL struggle to lose those last 10-20 pounds. So don’t cut off but limit carbs, snacks etc atleast in your first 12 months. That’s when you’ll get the most and rapid results don’t let anything get in the way of you reaching your goal!

2 days away from being ONE YEAR post op!!! (actually posted pics)

I can't believe it, almost a year ago I was 316 pounds. I was nervous, and eating every horrible and unhealthy meal I thought I would never be able to eat again because I knew I was about to change my life on December 14, 2016. I was sleeved on 12/14/16 and it was truly one of the best life decisions I ever made. It was not easy, from being in and out of the ER due to dehydration in my early stage.. barely being able to eat anything besides liquids/apple sauce for 2 months.. to now being able to eat honestly anything, just with portion control. I'm well known on social media, and people always ask me what do I eat, what should they eat, did I get additional surgery etc.. even on here as I try to respond to all messages I tell everyone the same thing: My journey will NOT be yours. We are all different, we are individuals and our bodies are all different. My experience was deff not easy but yes I love my results. If you are questioning getting sleeved, do your research and then say YES. I was so nervous about getting sleeved, I researched for months before I started the process. I'm so glad I turned my life around. I am literally crying as I type this because I am so happy. Food no longer controls my life, I do. The best feeling is self love and happiness... I was always confident but now I truly feel happy. 100%. And my journey is not even over yet, it just began. I will post pics because the few friends I have on here always ask lol! Love you guys. And I love all my sleevers. [emoji173]️ SW: 316 CW: 174 Height: 5'7 Measurements: 32, 27, 40. No plastic surgery has been done. -
Omg guys, So I have the flu this is my first time being sick EVER since I had surgery and I feel horrible. I’ve always had a weak immune system but this is ridiculous. Not complaining because I can’t eat (hopefully I’ll lose a good pound or two since I’ve been stalled for a while[emoji23]) but because I can barely even get in fluids! Everytime I try to sip orange juice, gatorade or even simple chicken noodle Soup I feel sick and throw up. I’ve been sipping Water which also gives me a hard time but it stays down. My body feels weak also. Had to cancel my appt with my surgeon for today because he’s 2 hours away I deff couldn’t take that drive feeling like this. Going to call him when the office opens and see what he says or suggest I do. In the mean time... Wondering if I should go to ER? What does anyone suggest? Has anyone had the flu affect them this deeply after being sleeved? Sleeve date was 12/14/16
