Hi there, the BC sleevers thread was getting slow so I thought I'd try a new one. Happy 2017 to all I started my journey March 2015 when my referral went in through the Richmond, BC program. December 15 was my orientation...things moved quite quickly and I met with the surgeon yesterday and got a date for surgery, January 23 I hope anyone else going through the process would like to keep in touch and we can offer support to each other. I'm sitting here wondering if I'm making the right decision...my stomach is in knots and I'm crying...I hope it's just nerves...I don't know why it's hitting me so hard. I think my husband is sick of talking about it...just needed to get it off my chest

How are you doing? It's hard to find local support online... 10 more days for me...I'm having a hard time losing on the preop diet and I'm following it to a tee, I think I will contact Raj or the NUT on Monday I've dropped just a few pounds

I'm a Richmond BC patient, going to be sleeved by Dr. Nguyen on April 11. I was nervous for my scope but it was quick and it went well. Sore throat for the rest of the day but it was manageable. Getting very excited and nervous. How is your pre-op diet going?

The 11th here too and it's my 44th bday!! We got this!!

I am now an April sleever, April 11, my 44th bday. I was scheduled for March 28 and they rescheduled to April 11. I hope the 2 weeks in between go by quickly!!

My surgery just got rescheduled to April 11!!!! The hospital cancelled all surgeries for March 28...I'm so upset...hopefully those 2 weeks go by quickly!!

Tomorrow is my meeting with the anesthesiologist, can you please tell me what it entails and how long it is? Thank you

Congrats on getting to soft foods!! Bet you've never tasted anything so good lol what's on your menu today? I'm doing okay, just going along with my preop diet and doing okay Has this week started out better for you? Getting in more water?

How was your follow up on Friday? I've talked to a lady on obesityhelp and she had her surgery February 9, with Dr. Sampath and she is up to 900 calories with puréed food...it's amazing to see the differences. Hope you are doing well
