    Autoimmune disorders and wls

I have Hashimoto's, Non specified Connective Tissue Disease and Chronic Fatigue syndrome as well as a slew of other random diagnoses. I'm only 3 weeks out of surgery but I have lost 25 lbs. My joint pain is better. I have been able to take my pills as of day 1. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

    So the honeymoon is over?

It's been a hard adjustment for sure. I ran three times a week before all this. I can't lift anything or even push a heavy shopping cart. But alas, it's one more hurdle and I'll get over it. I just started freaking out after reading this thread thinking I'm gonna end up looking like Kate Moss or someone else with no leg muscles! Since squats are out and running is in my past, I may lose my only asset, my runners legs! thank you for your well wishes! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    So the honeymoon is over?

I can't do anything to strengthen my core, which surprisingly is most exercises. I may be able to use a stationary bike but walking is okay as long as there are no hills and not prolonged period of time. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

    So the honeymoon is over?

Quick question - I was a runner as well until they discovered that I had bladder prolapse, rectum prolapse and uterine prolapse. I'm not able to get the surgery to fix my prolapsed fixed until three months after my sleeve (I was sleeved in December, prolapse surgery date set for April). My question is, I'm two weeks post op and won't be able to exercise until June at the earliest (if I will be able to resume my normal routine). Is the only way to preserve my muscles to hike up my intake of Protein higher than 100? I don't want to wilt but I also don't want to further damage my body. 5. I'm with you both on the same day. Can't seem to shake these hiccups. Come out of nowhere. Even when not eating or drinking. How are you doing? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
