  1. My nutritionist did everyday the first few days after surgery to make sure I was getting enough fluids in...and then I saw my doctor at my 1 week follow up!!! Sent from my Z981 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Before surgery

Lol!!!! Almost same thing happened to me but I didnt see them put the liquid in the iv. They put the mask over my face and said "breathe slowly its just oxygen." Yeah right!!! I just remember her saying that and then i got dizzy for a second and was out. Hehehe
  4. Thanks for all the replies everyone!!! I was trying to drink unjury with milk these past couple of days and couldnt get that much in...today i tried the iso100 clear and since 8 this morning ive drank 2 20oz bottles which is 80 grams of protein plus 8 ounces of water which makes my 48oz daily goal for this 1st week. I tried these preop and hated them and now they taste so much better and go down alot easier than the powder protein!!!
  5. I just had my rny done 2 days ago. Tuesday June 13th and I cannot seem to get all my protein and liquids in...what was everyones intake the first day or 2, first week, and so on??? What protein were you getting in??
  6. I just got my endoscopy done this morning...While I was in the recovery room my doctor came in to talk to me. Im thankful he didnt find any ulcers, hernias, or any polips but he said that my intestines are flipped around in an abnormal position. He said that this is found in about 1 in every 10,000 patients, and because of this my bypass will most likely be open instead of laprascopic. Im just freaking out a little. Ive never had any surgery so i guess its just the thought of being cut open. Is open alot hard to recover from open than laprascopic??
