  1. Diabolik

    Clear protein drink

I found Atkins lift to be a little easier to tolerate than the Isopure. It has 20 grams of protein compared to the 40 of isopure. I found 1 flavor at Walmart and 2 others at my supermarket. But it does kind of taste like Gatorade. I'm 4 days post surgery and I haven't tried to work with the isopure yet, I only tried them before my surgery to see if i could stand the taste. 2. I was diagnosed with Barett's Esophagus after my endoscopy for qualifying for my upcoming sleeve. After listening to the gastroenterologist, and the information he gave me was a little overwhelming to process, he suggested that I have a consultation with my surgeon to discuss how to proceed. After speaking with my surgeon we determined that we are going forward with the sleeve. As he explained it, there is a consensus that there is a possibility that a sleeve can make Barret's worse, but there are only a small amount of studies that are looking into the correlation between the two. In the end we decided that the area affected for me was very small, and if complications were to arise, I can always opt to have the sleeve converted to a bypass. I definitely suggest consulting with your surgeon after he gets the report from the gastroenterologist. Good luck.
