    Soft foods?

I'm 21 days post op and my plan says I can have soft foods (fish, chicken, tuna, some soft veggies) etc. My question is what are some things you may have tried at this point? How did u cook it? How did ur stomach handle it? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. I don't want my experience to scare u but when they woke me up from surgery I thought I was having a heart attack. I remember yelling ( so I thought but I really wasn't because of I was in and out of it) my chest hurt, my chest, my chest hurt. Over and over. They was confident it was gas but they did do a ekg, and chest X-ray for precautions. Thank God it was gas but they could of warned me. So apparently people have gas in different places and I do happen to have mine in my chest. It slowly went away each day. Walking does help move it around. When did you guys go back to work?

I took 2 weeks off. Which was perfect for me. I was only in pain, sore, and tender for a lil over a week. By the time I went back I was painless, and full of energy. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Ok guys I did go to smoothie king and I got the chocolate gladiator. Which is nothing but chocolate powder and Protein no added sugar. I hope it goes down well and stays down. I will keep u guys posted Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. Question I am still in the full liquid stage and was wondering if I can have a smoothie from smoothie king. They do not have sugar free smoothies because of the natural sugar in the smoothie I may choose. But I can choose not to add the added sugar they use to sweeten the smoothie plus I can add Protein. Puree stage

I'm a week out and I am surviving off Protein shakes, sugar free popsicles, Water, and crystal lite. I don't want anything puréed. The look of puréed food discuss me. I will just wait to soft foods and I could have soft foods at 14 days out. 7 days left. I can't wait! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Chili? ( one week post-op)

Well I called and they said no. Such a disappointment but the reason being is because of the spice. I can add season like all season or Tony's but nothing spicy. I'm glad I checked. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
