  1. Hey guys!!! I follow a couple of people on social media that has had some form of weight loss surgery. They just had a meet up in New York and had a blast. I think it would be so nice if a group of us with the similar weight and surgery dates get together and a year from now plan a meet up. In the meantime we can create a group chat (groupme, WhatsApp, text) and just share our experiences, before and after, recipes and etc. Who's down???? I think a cool meet up location would be Virgin Islands [emoji847][emoji847]
  2. We should start a GroupMe or WhatsApp for all the Floridians on her e

    Hair loss

I don't think I'm at that stage yet where I'm suppose to lose my hair. However, I take 4 biotin pills daily. 40,000mg. I would be devastated if I start losing my hair. I hope it doesn't happen to me

  6. Need someone to talk to. Just a friend. Someone that knows what I'm going through. Someone to chat with. I'm just bored and lonely. [emoji20]

    Need encouragement [emoji34]

Thanks so much. I think that's the hardest part for me. I want to see my results. I want to feel better. I still feel like a fat log. I'm not looking for microwave results but a little something
  8. Hey guys, It's me again. So I'm about 1 month and some changed post op. I had the RNY. According to my scale I've lost 39 pounds since then. I'm still unable to eat solids. When I eat it feels like it's stuck in my esophagus and I have to make my self throw up to feel relief. I'm slowly but surely increasing my protein and water count so that's good. I haven't started exercising because I have no energy. Now, here's the problem I don't see or feel a difference. I look the same. My clothes fit the same. I'm starting to believe my scale is broken and I really didn't lose anything because this is ridiculous. To me 39 pounds is a big number. I would like to see something. At least a dress size. I'm discourage because of it and frustrated. When did you guys start noticing a difference?
  9. It's been 1 month. "Drumroll please" I'm down 24 pounds. I'm happy with that number but I'm disappointed in my self because the first couple of weeks I didn't stay on track. If I did I probably would of lost more weight. I'm happy though. It's a rocky road for me. I'm still not totally adjusted to this new life and relationship with food.
  10. You are amazing. Thanks for your kind words. I'm doing better. I'm down 9 pounds in 2 weeks despite me hiccups so that was a little encouragement to keep pushing. My doctor has given me the ok to start light aerobics so I'm excited to start sweating.
  11. @Soyounique thank you for support and reassuring me I'm not alone. I love this app but it feels like some people on here forget we are human and it's going to take time to let go of bad habits. I was accused of faking my experiences and just wanting attention. I'm being transparent. I'm being opened. I do it so people like you can help me through. I appreciate you. For the other people that were born perfect and obviously didn't need the surgery because they ate perfectly their entire life please exit and find an app for perfect people. [emoji1610]

    Almost died

Lol. I made a mistake. Definitely not looking for attention. I just shared an experience I had. My doctor told me that she had a patient eat a bag of chips. It happens. I'm doing well now. Thanks for the encouragement. Last time I checked this group was to receive support and fellowship since we are in the same journey. Maybe you guys need to reevaluate yourselves.
  13. I'm sorry you had to go through that@Marissa.Ann.C thanks for sharing that with me. I'm glad your better now. When I decided to start this journey I knew what I was getting into. I know it wasn't going to be easy. I'm fighting. The last few days I just let "head hunger" get the best of me.
