you are not alone. I had mine done on Dec 14th and it feels like someone punched me in the stomach. thanks for starting this feed. its good to see that we aren't alone. i have to go to Dr. s tomorrow and have my list ready on what to ask him. Hope and prayers to you that you feel better soon :-)

    Sipping Water

when I was in the hospital they told me to drink 4 oz per hr. so 1oz in 15min shouldn't be to bad as long as you sip slowly and not take big swallows.

    4 days post op

i got my sleeve done on the 14th of Dec. and feel the same way. i would wake up to the pain and would tell myself its because my stomach is empty so id sit up and sip Water. it would dissapate. then i get it again and i would assume it was gas. tried going on different forums to see what people did to help with pain. sleep on left side. walk alot, drink plenty of water. and even use heating pad. one of the things that is helping me is that. 1. prayer and I know everyday that passes I do feel a lil bit better. 2. I made a strict schedule that I try to follow. from the time I wake up, what & how much I drink, meal, exercise, rest, rr visits, and I just journal EVERYTHING. it helped me a lot and it made sure I was drinking enough water, because I was getting dehydrated the day before(that's why I started the strict schedule for myself) Basically start trying different things that you think would work for you to help with the pain. Walk, drink water and Tylenol and resting on left side are what I'm trying. so far I'm burbing more than yesterday. I wish I could be of more help. hope you feel better soon.
